Thank you for discussing your changes in cravings. Pizza is a major trigger for me. I used to make my own pizzas from scratch and miss it. I’m going to try to curb my mindset to think about how I am NOT “treating myself” when I eat those junk cravings. I am treating myself by eating reasonably and feeling much better than the bloated, sick feeling after eating pizza. I need to treat my body rather than my mindset. I think my mental health will eventually catch up

I'm proud of you fellas, you guys legitimately seem so passionate about helping others achieve their dreams of being a healthy weight one day. I struggled all my life with obesity and it all stems from my childhood environment. I have tons of respect for you both and applaud how open and honest you both are concerning weight loss and mental health. I lost 60+ pounds and kept it off for a while and I feel great! Still looking to drop an extra 40lbs to be at my weight loss goal of 100lbs lost but I've been taking it little by little, and over time it's paid off tremendously! I'm real proud of myself at where I am at and still excited to see myself in the next few years. Your channels have helped me stay motivated and I've actually been watching *Obese to Beast* ever since he uploaded his loose skin video. One day I'll be posting a video on my own weight loss journey and what I have learned not only about nutrition, the industry, and even myself. Best of luck to everyone trying to better themselves and working on achieving their fitness goals. You CAN do it, just need to start today. 💪🏻

Good podcast, I know it will get better. One critique is not letting a guest finish a thought. Ask the question and consider once the question is answered giving a slight 2 count pause to see if anymore info comes out. Makes for a great conversation. One last thing, try to not compare times in your life to a story that's being told.

the 'IT' moment is the exact same between obese people ready to make a change and alcoholics hitting rock bottom. you can say its health, or wanting more or some certain moment but they all come back to the same thing. Its Shame, never wanting to be in this moment again, feeling embarassed to even your own self, realizing you want more and the idea of you continuing on this path from here again makes you sick to your stomach with guilt. That is the only thing that can break you from a pattern of habits so ingrained.
@sonnysixteen2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate all of your hard work Brix, was excited for a new video but honestly this was hard to watch. At first, it sounds like you kept interrupting him when you really weren’t. I think it’s the way the video is edited. What’s with all the hard jump cuts and transitions? Never heard of this guy, so I’m trying to listen to his story, then you interrupt to ask a question about a haircut?? Let the man speak! It’s almost like you weren’t listening & just waiting for your turn to speak, hard to tell cause the editing disrupts the flow of the conversation. Apologies if this comes off as rude, not my intention at all. Just my two cents. Love your transformation series, very inspiring. Just not looking forward to part two or hearing more of this guy’s story unfortunately. I got a headache from watching this one haha. Get well & get money 💪🏽
