Inline 6s do better with turbos as the firing order and exhaust pulses make the the turbo spool real quick and are great for exhaust scavaging. With a V engine, superchargers work way better low down and you don't need a complex exhaust system. Exhaust sounds better on superchargers hands down though

@@CarNitty very easy. The supercharger uses belts and pulleys off the engine to turn a compressor , a turbo charger scavenges off the exhaust gases to turn a compressor. Need more m135i content loving my alpine white one to bits

The supercharger doesn't use exhaust gases at all, only belt driven to compress the intake gases. Great video though 👌 enjoyed it and reminds me of my old audi A4. Keep up the good work bro 💪

@@LS10Works glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching! Fully aware SC is belt driven but I think I got mixed up with the fact for SC, the air compressor is used to increase the pressure or density of air entering an engine, providing more oxygen with which to burn fuel.

Great video and great cars! One thing to mention for anyone looking to buy one of these, the face lift models 2013+ got a revised DSG which is said to be much more reliable. 2014+ to be safe

The "T-turbo" in the TFSI acronym is not a lie as such, but it is defo a bit misleading! It refers to the fuel being pressure-injected into the combustion chamber. This gives an instant charge which cools the intake air and increases compression. And finding a car that's been owned for 4 years that's still stock is a rarity. I'm assuming its stock as it has the original airbox running the resonator that reduces the supercharger whine? This guy needs to hit at least a stage 1 on this to see what it can really do! I couldn't live with any less than the 480hp/600nm that my own stage 2 B8 puts out.

Generally speaking the TFSI was launched with the B8 A4 in 2008 I believe. Previously, they were called 2.0T or whatever the displacement was. I have to say, it's still quite misleading as a lot of people have gone without knowing it's supercharged! . The car is completely stock with no mods at all apart from the Res delete. I too am shocked but I have to say, it's a lovely motor and it puts a massive smile on anyone's face out of the box! Thanks for commenting. @@CarNitty Agree mate, that silly V6T badge on the side doesn't help matters either! lol First thing I did was pull them off and stick on the OEM supercharged ones. That car did look like it pulled very well for stock, though the res delete may've made it sound a bit quicker than it really was. Glad to see you all enjoying it! But if you can, get a ride or a shot of a stage 2, plenty around. It puts these cars in a different league, 0-60 around 3.5secs and with the right intake setup can scream like a hellcat.

C32 is a rare thing in today's world. The RS3 and this are world's apart in terms of price and sound but very similar power technically 👀
