"This 2010 Ford Mustang GT is no ordinary classic," he says, motioning to the car idling on the auction block. "It's special. That is weird.Motortrend had the Mustang GT stock got 0-60 in 4.9 sec. Because of the notoriously inaccurate 0-60 times inside line make i would round this Mustang's 0-60 at 4.3-4.5. Insideline even tested the ZR-1 0-60 time at 3.8 secs. Everyone knows it is at least 3.2-3.3. These people suck which leave me wondering why i watch their videos.

.2 seconds faster 0-60 and .3 secs faster 1/4 mile almost a full second slower through the slaloms..... and the same price as a GT500...... I smell waste here. I would rather buy the GT500 and get more than my moneys' worth or buy the GT and spend way less on mods and go a full second faster. Love the stangs but doesn't make sense to run 5 lbs of boost on a GT almost $20,000 more.

yeah i always wondered why i ran faster at darlington than jefferson pageland ( i know u dont know where that is) my "home" track is about 75 more miles inland than darlington is and yeah i have never really dealt with the altitude thing but it amazes me how much the temp affects times 2 to 3 tenths with a 15 to 20 degree temp change and yeah the dude with the tranny that i was telling u about runs 11.70's with a 100 shot he breaks rear ends alot too!!!! 7.5 gm rear end can only stand so much

im looking at the time slip now 60ft 1.995 330 ft 5.564 1/8th 8.454 mph 87.01 and i guess the next one is the 100ft mark (i only have half the slip the my buddy has the other half) 10.964 the 1/4 13.070 and the mph is 107.07 and i was in the right lane and it was earlier this year and it was pretty cool out i ran again while it was hot at a 1/8th mile track closer to home and ran 8.60s in the 1/8th so the heat slowed it down a bit but i swear on the bible that i ran what i ran

its a highway patrol car maybe that has something to do with it the car has a little higher rear end ratio and alittle bit stouter suspension and i was about 75 miles from myrtle beach at darlington dragway in darlington south carolina i dont have a video of it we didnt video it it was just me any my buddy with the trans am he was running 12.90s with a basically stock car it had headers 3.73 gears and a slp cold air intake i swear to ya im not bull shittin

@IMurderedElmo Correction. LIVE rear axel. Not old. It's perfectly new. Sure it has a disadvantage but it quick enough around the track as it is. If you don't like it buy the old Mustang. And Mustang has some of the best factory modifiers. Roush, Saleen, and Shelby. And even Hennessey. The GR40tt Stang can pull 1.6G

cool... u said u have a turbo car? that explans the fast 1/4 and the slower 1/8th she must have started pullin on the top i had a older 88 camaro it ran 9.00's in the 1/8th and ran like 14.20's i the 1/4 ha im sure the 2.73 gear wasnt helping me any by the time it got to the end of the 1/4 it was getting good millage hahaha (it was a turd on top)

yeah i mean like i said i was like 75 miles from the beach Darlington elevation is 155 feet above sea level. i just found that and yeah it was cool that night so i know that was deff helping me out i mean the first time i ran it was like 2 or 3 weeks earlier and it ran 13.30 so i was surprised at the 13.07 too like you said i guess it was perfect that night

my stock 99 b4c z28 runs 13.07 at 107 in the 1/4 gets over 25 mpg on the highway and i paid 5200 bucks for it my buddies 01 trans am with 3.73 gears and headers runs 12.90's in the 1/4 and 11.70's with the 100 shot of gas and mine is 10 years old and his is 8 years old and his twin brother had a 6 speed car that ran 12.90's also so this doesnt impress me that much

gt500 looks better, has more performance to compensate for the added weight over this mustang... so in a way if it's the same price as this... then this is just a blunt rip off and you would be quite idiotic to go for this.. unless the retarded blue color appeals to you .. then eh... i guess thats a valid reason to get it

Damit i'm late!! 2010 Stang looks very good! I saw a black GT with a custume exhaust, with some Axis wheels on it OMG Freaking sweet and sounds amazing! I'm kinda feeling them yo! I kinda want one, but it's gots to get a few upgrades, Eibach Suspension, Vortech Supercharger, Magnaflow, K&N cold air intake system, new plugs you knowthe works lol!!!

This is like the F-Sport for Lexus. Neat idea but not very practical...especially when there is a GT500. I dunno about Ford Racing but with F-Sport, it's cheaper to get better parts from some other aftermarket source, so it's basically tuning for the non-enthusiasts.

The new Mustang is sexy. I would love to own one. The new Camaro is temping but I believe if bought i would always feel that mustang envy and feel I made a mistake. Either way I cant hate on Any American car, don't know why some of you do.

I just find it ironic that you are so insistent on labeling it as an 'import' despite 90% of other 'american' automobiles/goods are directly or indirectly derived from outside markets. I.E.: The Ford Fusion Hybrid Technology being a direct replication of the Toyota Prius Hybrid Technology though a little more advanced. I'm assuming you consider the Fusion an import also? Thats silly. Do you know how many "american" products are built outside of the united states? Baseball is an american sport, yet how much of the paraphernalia made across sea's? Since the sport has a diverse body of races, and ethnicities, does that make it un-american? Globalization is something that is growing by the day-it's a simple business strategy: build a product as cheap as possible, and sell it at the market value to maximize profit. The only thing FORD has hinted at was a new 5.0l engine going into the mustang. They have yet to release anything about HP ratings. The V6 is a really bad rumor since the 5.0l was the only real notification. yet, i doubt they ugrade the V8 without the V6. I just wouldn't count on those hp ratings especially since when i first heard the original V8 was suppose to have 400hp. Scratch the V6 info. I did find more info on that. V8 still in the dark though

@rollin92gt ever thought about Ford does is cus they know a real car guy woud love to customize and upgrade his/her own car and personalize it themselves. thats another reason the mustang is the best car. im not knockin yea i hear what your saying. if Ford made that factory the price of the car would go up. mustang are known for being affordable so if you factor in the price for the parts/labor/energy to make the parts it wouldbe affordablle to everybody.

I can totally respect that Ratmouth66. To be honest I am much the same way, with a slight bias toward the Mustang. It's not that you are supposed to buy a turn key FRP but that you could tune your Mustang with the parts that work best for you. Think of this as a rolling advert for the Ford Racing Products catalog. Although if you are like me and want a bit of a sleeper, this car covers that bill. The GT500 screams performance, a car like the FRP Mustang just performs and that is my style.

HA HA are u serious?? Inside Line did a test between the 370z, mustang gt, and the hyundai genesis coupe and the 370z beat em all. Its 3.7L V6 puts out 340hp and 270lb-ft, more hp than the mustang. Yeah the mustang has more torque, that's probably why u say its faster....but its not....and i have driven both of them....they have 2 different approaches to make similar power, so test driving them is useless to see which is faster.

@bwilliams2049 Bigger engine doesn't always mean it's faster. The Mercedes-Benz AMG SL65 Black Series has a 6.0L Twin Turbo V12 making over 600hp while the Lexus LF-A has a naturally aspirated 4.8L V10 pumping out 556hp. Now, which do you think is faster? SL65 BS - 3.8s 0-60 LF-A - 3.4s 0-60 Other facts are added in to what makes a car faster, not just engine size.

@Ratmouth66 frpp are the most expensive parts out there, its supercharger only gives you about 75 horses more??? thats insanely weak. you could go after market and void the warranty and get better yet cheaper performance parts that add a lot more horses and torque, it is not a usual sight seen a mustang aficionado, spending on for racing performance parts.

Ratmouth66, sorry to break this to you but no Mustang has come stock with an independent rear suspension since the 2004 SVT Mustang Cobra. Not even the 2010 GT500 is offered with an indie kiester. For the record the 2010 Mustang GT with a live axle is faster on a closed circuit track than a SS/RS Camaro. Although the IRS on the new Camaro is better for the work-a-day commute.

I put a Roush M90 Roots style on my 2010 - It put me at 435HP. My car's base and it was $28,800 - The supercharger installed at my local Ford dealer was $6400 with vent guage pod - $35,200 and I have all I need for straight-line fun. The car's a blast to drive and the sound of the supercharger makes me smile every day :)

yeah, i hate that too. people hate on american cars for no reason at all and claim that everything is faster than it, but when it comes down to it, many american cars can destroy most imports it goes up against. Yeah, WTF. This actually does WORSE than the track pack. First off, you can see in the video that the car has much less body roll. I call bad driving. Either that, or the tires on the FRPP mustang sucked. The FRPP handling pack should whoop up on both the track pack, AND the GT500. Hell, the old Bullitt got 67.2 in the slalom.

You shouldnt even be commenting with a V6. This car would wipe your V6's ass in a heartbeat! If you love mustangs and are a Ford guy you wouldnt buy a mustang in a 6 cylinder version unless you're just trying to look cool and even then you look like a tool, buy a stang with a V8.

ifurtalkin about the older ones then yea i think there rwd ( rear wheel drive ) then slam on the gas if it can peelout for a lil while then you can perform a burn out, same as stated before give it gas then apply and hold the brakes the front should lock up and rear spin freely

waste of money.. holy crap 46K? might as well buy an old 350Z and Stillen Stage 4 supercharger, and then coilovers, strut tower/ sway bars, intake, exhaust, etc. for the same price the Z would handle a lot better, accelerate a lot faster, and definitely look better.

everyone will think that mustang is cheap like all the other mustangs, and for $47k it doesnt even have xenon lights! a 370z will beat those numbers for $17k less. you could rent a giant billboard on the highway for 1 year that reads "SUCKER" for $17k.

Performance isn't much different. Acceleration numbers are similiar to a stock one. Handling is about the same. 315hp to 400hp jump isn't much for the price. Imagine what can be done with the 2011 GT's. 500hp easy.

Uhhhh apparently you missed that the 2011 Mustang is getting new engines. Check it out on any Mustang site, but the new V-8 is going to have 412 horsepower! The V-6 will have 305 horsepower! This is GREAT NEWS!

Ford officially announced the numbers for both engines quite a while ago. The 5.0l gets 412hp and 390lb/ft with a 6800rpm redline. The 3.7l gets about 305hp and 280lb/ft with a 7000rpm redline.

Well since it's a RWD (rear wheel drive) car, applying the break will lock the front tires. Giving it gas will only rotate the rear tires.
