The Edge Pulsar Inline Tuning Module is the latest tuning innovation for your naturally-aspirated RAM truck. This tuning module works as an extra PCM. Specifically, it provides your truck with the benefits of a basic handheld tuner without the hassle of unlocking your PCM. Furthermore, it utilizes your in-dash gear indicator as its display and uses steering wheel cruise control to adjust levels for instant performance changes. For me… this Pulsar unit 100 percent without a doubt made my ram feel quicker and feel light on its feet. I only run tow or performance mode mds off.. 93 octane only! I love it and feel it was money well spent

Honestly it took me 10 minutes to install. Would have taken less time but I had to cut the zip ties that hold the PCM wiring harness to the firewall. It gives you the extra length you’ll need when you piggy back the Pulsar to the PCM. When set to performance, it’s noticeable. Very happy with this easy upgrade. Make sure you order the right Pulsar for your Ram. They make different models for the Classic and 5th Gen Rams.

Ok just installed this on my truck I did noticed when it switches to other mods but I do not notice the mds off why is this before installing this pulsar I was use the gear shift to shutt off mds am I doing anything wrong it does say stock mds off on display

My 2015 Bighorn was no need to do a thing. Was good to go. My screen is set up differently too. Ohh, Performance mode yes, the gas pedal is extremely sensitive.....GO EASY starting out.

I just purchased this product and I do not think it turns off my MDS I went through all the modes and it sure sounds like the MDS is kicking on is that not normal? I have a 2019 classic 5.7 hemi aftermarket exhaust so you can tell when the MDS kicks on it does not seem to turn it off. Is there anything I can do?

I have one... tried to install it and broke the red levers.... didn't know if I should've sprayed with anything...left it alone... might have to just let it go and cut my losses

Im moving mine to a new truck and lost the installation bolts. Are these available for purchase or can you tell me the specs on the bolt and washer I can acquire from my local hardware store?

Bought a used one came with no hardware. Called Edge and they told me m6x80mm with 1/4” washers… took 5 min for the call lol

I have one. I love it. But it does NOT turn off mds. You still have to turn it off manually.

I've heard the Pulsar doesn't actually turn MDS off, but rather just blips the throttle every time MDS tries to engage, making the truck feel jerky. What did you mean by turning MDS off manually?

any idea if the 15-18 works on a 22 classic? I would assume so being the same motor but seems to be limited info for classic trucks with this module. I can’t find any info for the classic models

I don't think so, I have a 2019 Classic which is really a Gen 4 and my PCM is on the firewall like this. I think your 22 is Gen 5 with the PCM against the battery. They have a unit for that as well.

I was informed by the RAM Dealership, that if I were to install anything like what is being offered above, my Factory Warranty would be OBSOLETE!.......(Ain't no tuner worth loosing my Factory Warranty)

Unfortunately as soon as Chryslers warranty expires, you'll notice either hemitick, crapshifting, or your mds screwing with your engine.. So- get the tuner asap

@@Velanestar my 07 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi has 278,001 miles and still purrs like a kitten - "Thank God the 3rd Gens weren't prone to the ticking" 😁.....It's the 4th and 5th Gens that are notorious for those issues.
