2015 Jeep Wrangler Shorted 5 volt Reference!

We have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler that when you hit the gas it goes into limp mode setting codes for the 5 volt reference low voltage. Sorry for the long video, but it took me a long time!

I really enjoyed the video. Finding those shorts can be tricky for sure. I noticed the garage closed down for the day while you were still troubleshooting. I have to wonder how long did you spend on this car to find the problem? Also, how much did you charge the garage for your service? Do you have a one time trip charge irregardless of how long it takes to isolate the problem? Or do you keep a running clock and bill by the hour? As long as you keep making videos I'll be tuning in...

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I charge a set price for coming down and that includes an hour of diagnostics, then I charge per hour after that. This first video prob took around 2.5 hours but I didn't find the problem until they took intake off, that's in part 2.

Before even watching this. Had a similar issue on a jeep; they replaced gas pedal,camshaft sensor,throttle body,harness… turned out to be EGR shorting the 5v ref randomly
