2016 Ford F-150 3.5 AEM CAI installation with sound clip

Detailed how to install of the AEM cold air intake kit with sound clip at the end.
Not sure why the sound is slightly off in the beginning. I've tired re uploading and checked everything I can think of. I made this at about 2am, so forgive me for the bad filming, but hopefully this video is helpful to someone

On 11:50. Sensor opening should be pointing to the 3 o'clock 9 position, so it could measure the air flow correctly!

Notice any problem from not having this intake covered? I would think this intake is sucking in a lot of heat from the engine compartment?

Nope. It seals to the underside of the hood and takes air from the factory snorkel/cold air.

definitely breathes easier and pickup is a little better. I haven't dyno'd it, but I would estimate about 10hp. sound is awesome.

Was your truck already tuned?

I got a check engine light, did you get one too?

Yes, but it went away after a little bit of driving. The ECU is trying to get used to the extra air passing through the system

F-150 KING OF TRUCKS just the synthetic media and surface area of the filter alone are better than the OEM paper. not to mention with the separated pipes each turbo can now pull as much air as I can without potentially robbing the other. without a tune you won't see much gains, but its all pieces of the puzzle. there's still more to come :P
