I love all of this guy's reviews, and great job on this one too! Great looking car, even if it may look a little over done, or over styled, but the saving grace on that note is that everything is actually functional! Dosen't sound over snarly, or droney. I just wish they had given the rear the full LED treatment like the front, and heated front seats would be great! Good Job Honda!!!

Cars drone at low rpm, not high rpm. It has a front mount intercooler, so that hood vent does NOT feed air to the intercooler. The fender vents are to vent heat out the engine bay NOT to cool the brakes.

I live about 10 minutes from where this review was done. So funny to see road i take everyday. Hope Sofyan and the Redline team have enjoy their stay, and excellent review as usual. This Type R have won the right to wear this unique badge, very impressive and almost no torque steer. Good job Honda! Even if you don't need it for performance, the only thing i will complain about his the lack of AWD, because here we live in winter time 6 month/year. So it make everyday driving more safe and easy in harsh condition.

Ervin0310 yep, the exhaust sounds muffled and gagged. It was the first thing to leave in my car. Sounds better with either a Remus exhaust with 4 valve settings (controlable via smart cell app) or at least after removing the muffler. Had it tuned to 345 hp/485 Nm.... :)

I feel bad for anybody that buys this car and lives in a suburb, or in any area with a large car enthusiast falling and doesn't have access to a garage because I can almost guarantee that if the owner parks and leaves the car to go shopping or whatever, they'll eventually come back to find that some scumbag took the red Honda badges, lug nuts, wheels, the wing, etc, or something else significant on the car including the car itself.

Adithya Kombathula so? The Maxima has 300hp and CVT (which is horrible, but efficient). Honda underrates power anyways, the J35 makes 240-260 whp stock. The next gen Accord will be a couple hundred pounds lighter, torquier and just as much hp if not more.

I really like this Honda Civic Type R, however the back of the car really bothers me... it looks really ugly reminds of a riced out Prius from the back, however the front is really neat, sets the aggressive tone the type R needs 👌🏽

5.7 seconds? I believe it's faster than that. the maxima have 300hp and less than 270lb foot of torque and weights in about 500lbs more and have the same 0-60? nah I believe 5 flat for this car

great video... very informative and enthusiastic. One correction to your commentary- you noted that there's no sunroof, which adds weight and lowers the center of gravity. The added weight of a sunroof at the roof line raises the CG of car. Or perhaps you stated it correctly, but just sped through your statements making it sound differently.

When there's a hood scoop "for the intercooler" but the intercooler is a FMIC (in the front by the bumper) ...and when he pops the hood, there is no hole for the hood scoop...or am i blind? lol
