2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Front brake pad replacement

Quick video on how to change out the brake pads on a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's a rather simple process overall, definitely the easiest brake job I've ever done on a vehicle.
Things you'll need:
11mm HEX/ALLEN socket or L key (for caliper pins)
22mm socket (for lug nuts)
Flathead screw driver
C Clamp
Obviously, you will need a way to lift the vehicle up to remove the tire, as a backyard mechanic, best I have is my 12 ton tall bottle jack. Loosening the lug nuts prior to lifting the vehicle, locate the large bolt under the vehicle for a solid lift point. After raising the vehicle and securing it from being able to fall, remove the lug nuts and remove the wheel. From there, locate to two caliper slide bolts, they will have dust overs on them, one towards to top and the other towards the bottom facing towards the vehicle. Remove the dust covers with a flathead screw driver and also locate the caliper clip on the outside of the caliper, pop off the clip which can be a little tricky to do but not hard to do at all. Use your 11mm HEX/ALLEN socket/L key to remove the caliper bolts and slide them out of the way, DO NOT FULLY REMOVE THE BOLTS UNLESS THEYRE BROKEN. From there, you can simple slide the whole caliper off the rotor will some force, depending on any rust that may have welding together. You will now be able to simply grab the outer pad and replace it with a new one, with the old pad still attached to the caliper pistons, use a C Clamp to compress the pistons back in fully, then remove the pad and replace it with the new one. At this time, it is recommended to slap some lubricant grease on either side for the pads to easily slide when in use, although I didn't find any grease on them originally. From there, it's just a matter of reversal, grab the caliper and slide it back onto the carrier, line up and tighten the caliper bolts, install the bolt covers, then install the caliper clip. Then there you have it, brake pad replacement done! Make sure you double check everything before putting the wheel back on, make sure when you're placing the lug nuts on and tightening them, that you go in a star pattern to ensure even pressure all around the wheel. Safely lower it and you're all set, make sure you get in the vehicle and pump the brake pedal a few times until it firms up, recommended to turn the vehicle on and simply back up and go forward, hitting the brakes hard to ensure they are properly seated.

Do not put the jackstand where he indicates, this bracket will bend and your front end will squeak every time you go over a bump
