From what I see, most people get a pentastar because it's better on gas. I have a bit of a different approach. I'm interested in it because it's the only reliable Ram 1500 engine available. The Ecodiesels and the Hemis are flawed from factory. They will always be plagued with problems no matter how well you take care of them.

I am starting to agree with you on this. Hemi lifter and cam failure is a big issue.

Doesnt matter. I never had an issue in the 5 years since I owned one.
