Beautiful roof my friend I'm a residential roofer by trade and I happen to have the same rv (Big country) ! I walk it every now and then and keep a eye on it, it's in good shape but I wouldn't mind a replacement from you guys, y'all do nice work 👌 I like the gaf colored membrane

The original group from Heartland started another company called Alliance about a year or so ago. Claim to start a new experience for RV owners by listening to their customers. Please post when one of these come in for repair, would love to see how they are really built under all the pretty roofing. My guess it's the same as any other.

I've got a 2018 Trail Runner....dropped off my camper 2 weeks after my 1 year warranty. Roof issues. Heartland declined the request to repair the roof. Said "lack of seal". The Heartland warranty rep said they need to be sealed every 3 months. So layer caulk every 3 months? Doesn't make any sense.

It's their way of ducking out from the warranty. The roof is listed under maintenance in your owners manual. They seem to build them to fail so folks get fed up and buy another while being upside down on the one they have....welcome to corporate America. Thanks for watching.

What do you use for caulking on the rail and the slide out rubber ?

Your caulking rubber? You can use OSI from Home Depot. We use Chemlink products. Thanks for watching.

From what I have gathered it is just an access point to run wires, cables inside the attic area. Works well if folks want to add solar.

The manufacturers in have a motto....Get em built, Get em out and Get em sold! Most if the coaches we do are not that old. The installation is wrong from the beginning. You simply can't run 28 screws around the vent and slobbér it with Dicor. That's not how a flat roof functions. That's why we make the custom curbs to elevate items off the roof line. Google Flat Roof Images and you will see the AC, vents and skylights are all elevates off the roof on a box. Those boxes are called curbs. The curbs have flashing and counter flashing to ensure watertightness. That's exactly what we do. However, you can't buy the curbs or boots for an RV so we fabricate everything as need be. The manufacturer won't brake the time to properly install the roof because it takes to much time. Jayco brags about how they can build an entire camper in 7 hours on their KZbin video. It takes us a week to just do the roof alone! Thanks for watching!

Every RV needs limited use spelled out max normal use but 2 yr min warranty, God & 15 yrs replace repair cycle meaning quality roof double normal pathetic 7yrs, NO FUCK way 2 yrs on roof not covered repair. JBM
