This car looks cooler then any 911. This is right now the best drivers car COMBINED with gentlemens luxury coupe on sale. It's does luxury and drivers car combination better then Porsche not to mention the engine sounds better than any Porsche on sale. The interior is also more special then any 911 interior. I also put this car ahead of all the benz coupes. This car is also a look into future Lexus models. I have a feeling Lexus cars are going to become more unique and niche cars.

I’m glad Lexus used funds to make beautiful, sexy cars like the LC. They have enough crossovers in their lineup...3-row RX will debut in a few weeks and compact SUV UX is coming. It’d be a waste if they invested in coupe-SUVs like BMW and Mercedes.

M Lee I bought this over the 911. 911 is faster but handles about the same as the lc500. The ride is more rough, and the interior is not as refined as the lc500. Depending on what youre looking for. Speed or luxury cruising. Also the lc500 is easily one of the best looking cars on the road. And you need to see it in person to appreciate it. I parked it next to my friends 911 Carrera s and it immediately made the Porsche look dated.

Car is simply stunning, inside and out... When one compares it to say, the Mercedes SL, the Benz comes away looking quite dumpy and ill proportioned. The Amg GT, though, is also stunning.

Fantastic review, as always. I love nearly everything about the car, and would give it serious consideration (also thinking about the Carrera S4 and E63). Unfortunately for Lexus, both of those other options have far superior infotainment systems, and both come in AWD. The Merc even has a fold down rear seat for my skis...

jason starek Merc owners are gonna be breaking their necks looking at this Lexus. That's all that needs to be said and if you care about reliability as you should LC500 makes more sense.

Toyota4Life I agree on both points...but that really doesn’t address that both the other options have AWD, better infotainment and fold down rear seats. May not seem like important features to many, but are to me. I live in Silicon Valley, I golf and ski a lot, and I’m an audiophile. All three cars are beautiful, so that’s not the highest item on my agenda. Dependability is an important consideration, but not as much if one drives less than 6k miles a year (as I do). Also, with a moniker like Toyota4Life I’m detecting just a hint of bias, lol. But good points nonetheless.
