Appreciate seeing your video. I live in Central Florida and just traded in a Honda Transalp on a 2024 standard DCT Africa Twin. I’m loving the bike except for the heat coming right at my knees. It really has me concerned, as I really hadn’t seen many people complain about it. It’s pretty bad on mine. I was checking out these deflectors but it doesn’t appear they will help with this situation. 😢 At this point I’m thinking of getting the tall rally one piece seat from Seat Concepts so I can slide back on it and decrease my knee angle bend, and will probably install lower crash bars and put highway pegs on them. I noticed when I stretch my legs straight out as if on imaginary highway pegs it’s much much better. I love the bike otherwise, but the heat isn’t comfortable. The Honda Transalp was extremely comfortable…I just wanted a better touring bike with tubeless, DCT, Apple CarPlay, and cruise. I also owned a DRZ400 so that also made the trade easier.

Yeah, heats not great on this one. I can only imagine being in FL. FWIW, I have the Corbin seat and it does little to reduce heat on your legs. The touring pegs idea isn't bad. I put my feat up on the crash bars often and it helps.

I've fitted the upper deflectors and managed to get the white plastic washers to fit. I don't think I'll bother with the lower ones. Great video well done.

I had the dealer install these when I purchased the bike. They were peeling off before I even took it out of the dealer. Removed them and got refund. After looking at them I really don’t see much use for them!

WOuld you say the upper wind deflectors are worth getting?

As I've stated in the video and other comments, I didn't run the bike long without them. So data on them is limited. I think they block some wind but not much. I like how they look and would recommend them on that alone.

Awesome. If the Mabdr trip window gets close I'll hit you up. I have the mounting bracket and when I ordered the paniers, they said the lowers were en route to them then to me. So hopefully only another week wait. Thanks

How many miles on your bike so far? Any fueling issues?

2k so far. No fueling problems like the 19 models. It does have a stalling fault if you twist the throttle abruptly a few times in a row.

Ok on the Facebook Africa twin page about 6-8 2020 AT ES are starting to have the same fuel filter blocking issues so I was just wondering. Mine doesn’t have enough miles yet but Honda better sort this out. Unacceptable known issue to still exist on a 2020 bike. Thanks and your videos are great
