A CV axel is not as strong as live axels. By your logic i could also point out that basically EVERY road car has IFS. Personally I don’t care for the Bronco. I think it’s cool but the interior just looks 90% done to me. Plus I wouldn’t get a Wrangler either. Neither of them can carry all my gear. It’s pretty cool to load up 5 adults, all my firearms, ammo, ez up, tables, chairs, grill, propane, cooler, and go up some ridiculous terrain to get to a long range shooting location. That turn assist seams to destroy the trail. Quad steering seams to be a better choice. But it’s still a great off-roader.
@kencoleman89293 жыл бұрын
I'm confident in its off -road ability. I'm more interested in hearing about on road ride characteristics for weekly commute and getting to the fun. Assume Sasquatch pkg would effect mileage. Would it negatively effect ride and handling as well?
@johnc83273 жыл бұрын
It will ride a little better than the Wrangler probably, but it will still have a stiff suspension and be top-heavy like a Wrangler. It won't be as comfy as a crossover for sure.

I think the removable roof and doors diminish its appeal . Few will remove them more than a few times a year, if ever. The compromises are noise, relocated power window switches, sloppy fit after a few years, leaks. A solid fixed top,would be quieter, allow heaver roof rack load, and could give the Defender a rival, for less money. It would look cool too. The removable roof is not useful in cooler climates, like the PNW.

Cargo volume is a misleading measure of usable cargo space, as most of us don't really want to fill our vehicles all the way to the ceiling. They should tell us the width and length of the cargo area as well.

Way bigger than a Wrangler. The Wrangler has a narrow cabin, so it's actually much worse in those measurements.
@ELmeinz3 жыл бұрын
@@mechmat12345 that's good to know. I never liked the wrangler due to its small interior and cargo space

@@mechmat12345 Yea, if someone were to look at it that way it would only just prove how much more room the Bronco has anyway.

I don't remember such amount of journalist enthusiasm for a new car. Not Just Carlos, all of them. It's pretty obvious the thing is great. But also, looks like Ford is working its "magic"... Checking the features, 95% of them can be coupled with the "like in the Jeep" or "like Toyota's" phrases. Anyway, I love the new Bronco. And competition can only improve the vehicles, and benefit the consumers.

The Chevy Blazer Could’ve Been Competing In This Segment Too! The Trailblazer Can’t Even Compete With A Bronco Sport.. Also It’d Be Cool If Toyota Builds A 2 Door 4Runner Option!

Ford did an excellent job of updating the vehicle but not losing the original flavor. Ford will sell a lot of these vehicles. Someone at Ford is making the right decisions. The Mustang MachE outselling the ICE version. Who woulda thunk.

My built week is June 28.. I haven’t talk with my dealer, I only emailed them with my specs and confirm it. How does the process go- I pay sticker price when my Bronco arrived at the dealership. Base, no Sasquatch, V6, hard top- San Jose CA
@zonacrs3 жыл бұрын
They should honor the build and price at the time of order, minus any current active incentives. If they don't, walk away and they will have to return your deposits as soon as they sell it. DO NOT pay any mark ups/market adjustments unless you agreed to them up front. If you have a firm contract price don't pay any more unless there was a disclaimer stating the price may change. I ordered an F150 back in November and my dealer honored the price as well as a trade incentive for my 2007 Tundra when it showed up in April.

So the Bronco needs premium fuel but the Wrangler uses regular? And what damage does the Sasquatch Package do to fuel economy? 🧐

1:41 into the video your numbers are wrong. I don’t know if this press event had mimosas but like half of the reviews the speakers can’t get the numbers right. 4cyl has 270hp/310tq. 6cyl has 310hp/400tq. Straight off fords website.

I'm sure the Bronco is great, but what I find really annoying is how we get such a biased opinion in these reviews. Not saying Carlos is biased, but when Ford sends you on a custom tailored course and the doors are off and you're having fun on the trails, of course the reviews are going to be positive... What we really want to see is a side by side trail comparison with the Rubicon, or even the Xtreme Recon.

"The mirror and window switches are here because you can take the doors off." But the motors and regulators are still in the doors and still require a plug.

If you have the window switches in the driver door. Then you would have all 3 other window wires. So by keeping the switches in the center. Less wires.

I don't see the point in most people discussing competition with Jeeps. How many people out there are really making a living in off road racing or competition? Some of us don't try to go over rocks, or go into pits; we avoid them. Ford corporation can discuss how to gain market share from Jeep if they like. Why does anyone else care? People buy what they like and can afford weighing their belief in product quality, proximity to dealers or competent service and size of family, etc.

Wow. Making the wrangler look stupid and uninspired. They did a good job paying attention to all the shortfalls of the wrangler and just making it better. Good job Ford.
@Grizazzle3 жыл бұрын
We'll see what's stupid and uninspired when the Bronco's fancy and unnecessary high-tech driving modes and gimmicks breakdown on the trail. Probably good for those that never take it off road, but I'm betting the Wrangler will still best it in that arena.

I am a long time Ford owner, but not too happy with Ford presently, to the point i am now looking to buy a new F150 Lariat for now as i am sure no Bronco will be in my driveway before 2022 and maybe 2023?? who knows??

INFORMATION CENTER in the wrangler is yrs ahead.Engine could be as much as 200hp more than Bronco. However since Ford had the chance to copy Jeep. Disconnecting sway bar, front and rear lockers.Doors and Top comes off .So no doubts Ford will put out a 5,0 V8 to compete with the Hemi 392 in the wrangler.
