Just purchased a 2022 CPO Turbo Premium. After filling up twice with Sunoco 94 octane, I put it throgh its paces. 0-60 in 5.76 seconds. The car has only 2,460 miles so I expect that might get better as it breaks in. I then took it upstate NY on Route 6. A six mile stretch downhill of a winding mountainous road. Some areas speed limit drops down to 35 MPH. In sport mode, I never dropped below 65 & as high as 80. As the vehicle leaned into the turns, I felt the powertrain favoring one wheel then another as it fought against gravity. It felt & sounded like a German luxury sports car with no turbo lag. Stability was true & solid. A real thrill! On parkway coming home at a steady 80 MPH it was quiet as a church. The Adaptive Headlights along with the auto-highbeams at night is amazing. Everywhere I went the road lit up like Yankee Stadium during a night game. Should be mandatory. Would save many lives. The Bose sound is real quality however I would of liked a sub-woofer volume button. For the money, you can't beat her!!!

Owner of a 2021 CX-30 Select in Machine Grey. Laughed out loud at the comment about the competition interiors looking like a Motel 6. No surprise I wouldn't want to cozy up in either of them. I like driving to be fun, responsive, controls built around me and ergonomically friendly, and the driving experience a pleasure. Touch screens require reaching, eyes off the road, stabbing with fingers and leaving prints on the screen. So much nicer to have the tactile click of a dial, push of a button, and a decent voice control system. Reviews seem to gloss over Apple Car Play (sorry, I don't have an Android), but that being present in all 2021+ is really a nice touch and just integrates one more thing into the safety aspect of this car. For our two person plus dogs household, this sub SUV is truly a joy to ride and drive, and tote a doberman around in.

@@rebeccabannister5304 none that I noticed. Every component is running smoothly. There’s no rust spots anywhere. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the cruise control. I just got a CX-30 and I drive at least 10 over the speed limit and am over 20 on mine.Also use premium gas--it actually will add a mile or 2 over regular gas and will cut the buildup of carbon deposits.I am not alouching off the line either so you must really be on it.BTW the car has so much torque down low that you do not even need to press the gas that much to get it to go.It is very effortless and can also easily get on the HWy at triple digit speeds.I just sold a 2020 GT Stinger 3.3TT for thousands more then I paid for it last year.I went and bought a fully loaded CX-30 premium plus and pocketed several thousand dollars and own it.The only CUV even close to this that i would take is a GLA 45 AMG and those are low 60k.The mazda is so good that it was a no brainer.The dealer I bought my CX-30 from was hyundai--it was on their lot instead of the mazda dealer they were attached to and they gave me the 10 year 100k powertrain and engine warranty on the Mazda.This is a much better choice then an X1 or Q3--those vehicles are 15k more and have nothing on this mazda except much higher maintenece costs.

I love 💕 cx5…..With 0 down I am paying 267.00 per month 12 k per year, since I have a lot of equity on. That car I am debating between cx5 touring with sv package or cx30 premium on a 24 month lease. I would ❤️ to have it turbo however lease programs are very unattractive for all turbo models. The bang for the bucks on my honest opinion is cx30 select model considering that the radio have 8 speakers ( cx5 sport it’s built in 4 speakers only )dual zone. Ac very cool seats plus safety all safety features. I bet that the cx30 driving experience it’s noticeable better than cx5. And cx5 it’s fun to drive expect when you use sport mode which is one of the more disfuncional sport modes that I had ever tested. I wish that Mazda brings Sonos audio system Harman or Bang OLufsen that will be a motivation the perfecto excuse to break the bank and get the top of he line if required

@MeynMotorGroup3 жыл бұрын
If you have good credit, I would consider leasing a Mazda and put no money down, even if you wanted to finance I almost never suggest putting money down because people with good credit should just try and leverage credit and hold their cash but whatever makes you more comfortable. You're def not going wrong with either CX-30 or CX-5, CX-30 does handle and feel better since it's several hundred pounds lighter and smaller so you will feel that difference albeit with less space. I agree with him and do the same: my credit is 802, I leveraged that on my 2021 Mazda CX-5. I sold cars for 2 years. I don’t advise people putting their cash down on a depreciating asset. Invest it or something else, If your credit is about 700. Leases are great IMO because you can buy it for a guaranteed price after your lease is over. Just take care of the car, and if you put a ton of miles on it then buy it when the lease is over and then you can sell it and not pay for the mileage overage. So many options and you have a new car under full warranty and enjoy a lower payment! And you can tell them you want a money factor that equals like 0% perfect, if the credit is great. The money factor is basically an interest rate but for a lease. It’s jargon. Let me know if you have any other questions in case the reviewer is not available. He is absolutely correct. He knows his stuff. I don’t know his name. But I’m Kody.

Just sold a 2020 stinger for proit and bought a CX-30 Premium Plus AWD turbo--and pocketed almost 8k--only thing near a CX-30 will be a KONA N and those will only be FWD at least for the first year.Also the KONA N and the Santa Cruz that have the AWD and their 2.5 turbo are 10k more then a Mazda and the interior on the mazda is better.Not trying to sway you just giving you facts.My stinger was the best car I have ever owned and if KIA had put that 3.3TT in a small CUV like the KONA N--I would have gone up to 50k to buy it--but they do not offer it.KIA's trannies "hunt" gears a little more in around town driving then mazdas 6.Under 40k this CX-30 is probably the best vhicle made for performance--relaibility--comfort--interior.The Stinger was--but even the 4 cylinder stingers are high 30s to low 40s--and over 50 now for the 3,3TT and AWD models.A kona N line witha 1.6T and AWD is like 32k and for 3k more the mazda is way better--so i do not know what you plan on getting at 32k at KIA that is comparable.BTW the 1.6 turbo needs to be almost floored to get it to accelerate--the CX-30 Turbo has 320 lbs of torque at 2k--meaning this mazda bolts off the line effortlessly--it is just a hair off what a Type r does and would dust a new civic SI that is considered a sport coupe and is also about 30 to 35k when fully loaded.

If the POV content doesn't take long for you to do, consider doing it like Doug demuro does(and others) on a second Channel. It's not bad content with kind of redundant when you've already covered the vehicle. Time to reward thing. I no KZbin expert but I have a general idea that KZbin rewards you for having good view count from each video on a specific Channel you have. Hence why people make secondary channels to put away their secondary content they don't think will get as much views as their primary content
@MeynMotorGroup3 жыл бұрын
You're actually absolutely right, most youtubers will start a second channel for the Miscellaneous content but they are usually larger channels that do that 😆 I'm still in the process of developing this one short term goal is to get 40k subs. Honestly I personally don't care about the numbers but these damn manufacturers just keep ignoring you unless you have big numbers. It's either that or you have to join some group or automotive press association which I refuse to do. I want to keep this independent. I actually dont even Care if a video never takes off because the only reason this channel survives and why I can do this full time is because I hyper focus on SEO so videos even from 2 years ago continue to generate views, most channels have to post everyday because they may get 100k views in a day, but nobody will watch in the future so I don't want to have to chase my own tale. I need opportunities and press cars for you guys to watch so I gotta figure out a way to grow this thing faster, experimenting with different video types in the meantime

I own a CX-30 Turbo Premium. In many ways this is a great car. But, this car is absolutely AWFUL on any kind of rough or bumpy road. The whole car shakes and you feel every little bump though the very skinny steering wheel. Great on smooth roads terrible in New England.

Thank you for the review. I personally don't understand the praise regarding the interior. It looks nice but it doesn't seem as functional as it's comp because of the non touch screen, missing audio buttons, etc.
@lisahoogvliet3 жыл бұрын
The non touch screen is for safety and I appreciate that. My 14sGTMazda3 had a touch screen but I actually never used it much. The commander control is perfect and easy to use and navigate.

Hey, I’m in the process of buying one now. I’m buying the select FWD They are offering me a technology package that would increase my payments by $37 Should I get this tech package which has gap insurance and pays for parts and labor if technology fails.
@2004cyrus3 жыл бұрын
No!! Don’t buy those extra warranties it’s just added dealer profit. If you absolutely think you need to then negotiate it to half the price. They will usually do it. But you already have a warranty from Mazda. Tell them you are buying Mazda’s because they are so reliable so why are they now telling you to buy extra warranties because the car may break. It’s always in the finance office that they try to hurry you into these decisions. You are better off to save that $37 yourself and keep it and not give it to them for something that probably won’t ever break! I used to work for the dealers. If you decided to buy gap protection from them, negotiate it to $595 instead of their asking price of $1000.

@@2004cyrus Hi. On a used 2020 Cx30 with 17k miles I should not let them talk me into extended warranty or Gap correct? Are the repair costs expensive as far as parts etc..Thanks
@2004cyrus Жыл бұрын
@@rebeccabannister5304 hello Rebecca. I wouldn’t buy any extended a warranty but if you are like some people who feel better with one, then negotiate it down to about $1000-$1500 and no more. Because you end up paying interest in it when it’s attached to your car loan. Consumer reports and many others don’t recommend those warranties because they don’t cover much and the company pushes back on repairs and it’s not worth the frustration, it’s a profit-driven product that’s not got much substance at all.

@@2004cyrus Hi, I read some scary reviews on the 2020 CX 30 Select. Electrical malfunctions causing car to stop on the freeway. Brake assist and oil leaks etc. Also, blind spots are terrible. Also, what do you think about 2018 CX 5 Touring with 50k mi. for $22,851? 3 owners and the 3rd owner only had it for 6 months and traded it in. One more thing, is there any truth to soy covered wiring/insulation attracting rodents and destroying the wires in the engine! That scared me to read that, what are your thoughts? Thank in advance
@2004cyrus Жыл бұрын
@@rebeccabannister5304 Hello Rebecca and I’m happy to help. So I drive a Mazda CX-5, I’ve had 3. And all have been flawless. My wife actually has a CX-30, turbo w/AWD. The problems you mentioned are largely the exception to the rule. And yes rodents will absolutely eat the wiring on any brand of car. I’d the car sits a lot and there are rats in the garage or on your property, that can happen. Some people brush a bitter syrup on the bottom of your their car, the undercarriage, which repels the rats. It’s not extremely common and if you drive the car daily that discourages the rats. The facts are that Mazda reliability and quality have matched or even exceeded Lexus levels in the past 5 years. That’s is verifiable and the dealerships have posted articles from a variety of publications around their showrooms and service departments that you can read. I absolutely love Mazdas, my parents and a couple of siblings drive them. Nothing major goes wrong. On the Mazda with 3 owners, that scares me a little personally. If you can find a 1 owner that maintained the vehicle and the records can be seen verifying that, it’s worth a little more money: that price of $22k is fair in this current inflated market but you may have some wiggle room on the price so I would come in $2000.00 lower if you are serious and see what they say. They may split the difference and take $1000.00 off. If the vehicle is in pristine condition that helps. But 3 owners is a lot. Who knows if they drove it to hell and back or if they were gentle. Try to get a Carfax and maintenance records. Don’t be afraid to ask them to raise the hood. Pull the dip stick out and look at the oil, pretend you know exactly what you are looking at. I do it. And I pull out the air filter and see if it’s full of dirt or reasonably clean. I also go back to the cargo area and lift the flooring and see what’s in the spare tire area. You’d be surprised what you might find. If you aren’t in a hurry for a vehicle keep looking. Don’t be afraid to go outside of state lines. CarMax is a good place to find a preowned Mazda also. The CX-5 is a great vehicle: it’s been out for about 5 years in this current generation and Mazda has worked out any bugs it might have had its first year. Definitely has more room in the cargo area than the CX-30. But CX-30 gets better gas mileage: lots of Pros & Cons. Let me know what other questions you may have. I don’t want to sound sexist but I’ll say it anyway, please don’t take offense. So if you can, find a man to take with you while shopping, dad or friend or boyfriend or grandpa: doesn’t matter. When selling a car, people tend to not work with a woman that is alone. Not assuming you’ll be alone, but you get a better deal and less BS if a man is present. Sadly it’s just that way. Obviously you don’t have to, but I’m in the environment 5 days a week and sadly it’s male dominated and they try to intimidate woman more. It’s bad. And it’s shameful. But it’s not a pretty world out there as you likely have figured out. Good day.

For 20-30k cars this vehicle far exceeds people's expectations. 50k Audis, BMWs, and Benzes still use plastic and most Benzes don't even feel as solid as this. Plenty of men drive Toyota CHR, Honda HRV, Konas, etc
