She totally does…you can just tell. You can always spot the kids who are just spoiled rich little brats that just don’t get it. That is NOT her. She is right there along with Dad and the rest of the crew working at the shop and on the road. I hope she likes it all enough to want to keep the business going when Dennis and his brothers retire. That would be great seeing her inspire other young ladies as well. I really enjoy watching the series. Dennis and his team seem to be just a great down to earth group.

I remember the first time my son took his Camaro to the track. I had him ride along on the first pass to show him how to do the burnout, stage and shift the car. The next pass I let him drive as I rode along. He pulled into the burnout pit, and put the pedal to the floor! I yelled for him to stop before the rods came flying out the block! The engine survived, and so did I. He's got it figured out now, and cuts a darn good light.

I had a 66 elcamino street car, use to drive it to the track 400 sb 350 trans, manual valve body that ran 11.20's .. when I would leave the line, didn't have time to look at the tach or anything, soon as I hit the gas, had to shift to second before before the gas pedal hit the floor, that's how quick everything is go, for a first timer it could be overwhelming, great job

Dennis we think it's great what your and kelsey are doing together. Back in 2011 when our daughter graduated high school my wife and I decided to buy her the 2011 srt8 392 challenger being we live just down the road from moroso now PBIR where she and her friends would meet up and race their cars. Alexis my daughter now has been working with the owner of speedlogix who is a mopar aftermarket performance shop in west palm beach. It paid off buying her that car exposed her to a world she has now become a part of that we can also share as father and daughter and mom. Kelsey keep working on those times who knows maybe someday you and Alexis could line up for a rip. Good luck and God bless us all!

That's super impressive that she was able to lay down those times & mph on the track being her first time in a car of that quality/power! The way you guys spec'd that Copo Camaro is really nice , only thing that would make it look better would be either brushed aluminum or a gun metal grey set of wheels to to go with the rest of the car. Still remember the first pair of Copo Camaros you and Richard got years back, super cool to see you & your daughter in a brand new one with serial number 001!

Dennis, what an outstanding gift and opportunity to deepen your relationship with your daughter... Reminds me of an occasion some years ago, when my Father bought me a 1974 Camaro, built from Nicke'y Chevrolet here in Chicago. They took a factory ( except for some goodies ) and replaced the factory smog infested motor, with an Lt-1 ( of 1970 spec's ) I assured all of my friends, that the sound coming from the solid lifter cam ( I believe the lash was .30 for both intake and exhaust ) was just an oddity for that year. Unlike your daughters car, I was more of a sleeper type street setup... How things have changed... From one dad to another great job...!
