Very tempted on mine now. Looks great.

Don't think you would be disappointed, there are other carbon options of course, but thought would give these a try. Would have gone for Carbon2Race again, but sadly, they don't make anything for these triumphs.

Trying to get Kriega tank kit on for trip to Spain & can't get tank to lift at all at front to get straps under
@twistandgo3414 Жыл бұрын
Ah yeah, you need to take the coloured shrouds off each side then undo the 4 bolts either side to lift the tank up. Currently fitting a rapidbike evo tuning module so ive just had the tank and airbox off. Sounds like you might have to manage without straps on the tank unless you can catch the front of it behind the steering head.

Does the plain weave look bad with the twill in person? I really want these, but they don’t do a twill. Another company does twill frame covers, but no swingarm 😭
@twistandgo3414 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, it honestly looks fine! It's not an issue at all. If you go to carbonfbr and use TWISTANDGO10 at check out, you'll get a 10% discount. Amc carbon frame swing arm covers and the rest is from CarbonFBR to which there is an even greater selection now for the 765RS. www.carbonfbr.com/

@@twistandgo3414 yup, I already have most of the carbon I need from them. Quality stuff. I may use your discount in the future tho. Thanks.

@@twistandgo3414 fitting my GB racing covers this week. Just had a nightmare of a few days. Found 1 of my pinch bolts were in half by the look of the bolt it's been like that for a while got my front wheel fitted last year at ecosse I think they snapped it and glued it back with grease hoping I wouldn't notice had to drill out now I have a wee hole at the side of my fork which needs patched with some jb weld. Now I have fresh greased titanium bolts from pro bolt.
@twistandgo3414 Жыл бұрын
@@MadNath hmm... Can't imagine they would have done that!? But, who knows, must have been some torque on it to snap as they dont need to be THAT tight! Glad it's sorted though.
@MadNath Жыл бұрын
@@twistandgo3414 I know by the look of the bolt it was sheared for some time litterally sitting in the hole. Took 3 hours for them to try and remove them wheh I got my tyre changed. But who knows
@twistandgo3414 Жыл бұрын
@@MadNath hmm... That's pretty poor either way... Some tlc and copper grease is anyone's friend. Dunno why manufacturers just chuck stuff in dry, just causes issues down the line.
