I like the Leoncino that uses this engine, especially the Trail with the cross-spoke wheels. I like the idea of a 360-degree crank. It makes for a really smooth, tractable engine. Lovely airbox noise. You are right: weights aids stability. My SCR950 feels so planted. Benellis are bikes you have to keep a long time to offset the residuals. Good review, Mark.

Overall it looks pretty good in the video but there are a couple of styling improvements that could be made. The radiator is very large and seems to stick out quite a bit - it looks like it would be damaged in a tip over. Likely and expensive fix and potentially ride ending. The light that is above the licence plate could be much smaller. Nice to have the Brembos. As others have mentioned I think the high price will be a problem as it will inevitably be compared to the darling of the moment - the Hornet. While the weight adds stability it dulls the handling. The inline 4 cb650r is 39 lbs less, even the z900rs is 6lbs less. More choice is good but outside of its home market of Italy I think this one will struggle based on its price and weight.

I'm in Italy and i bought this bike in novembre, preferring that over and mt-07, Hornet 750, Honda cb650 and so on.... Why? Most importantly the Benelli Is beautiful... But Also It Is 6990 euros, while the others start from 8000 euros and above... Overall i'm Happy with my purchase and having a blast with It, there are some Little things that aren't perfect but come on, it's very cheap for what It offers, and i'm loving It. Also i changes the license player holder with a tail tidy, changed the mirrors and some other couple of tweaks so that i'm saving weight while looking handsome.... Overall 8/10 for me.

I quite like this one Marl the back end puts me in mind of the Triumph Trident not to keen on the rear guard arrangement with the indicators and number late but apart from that an ok bike ,the Hornet has it a bit on the horses and on price unless you have the quick shifter .So not sure which I would have between them and I do fancy a 750 twin actually .😉👌👍 spot on review as ever .

I had to check the weight after you said 226kg wet and you are correct! It is a good looking bike but I don't know how they have made the bike so heavy, like 36kg more than a Honda 750 Hornet and 42kg more than a MT-07, which I would judge as main competitors.

Thanks, Mark, hope you are well, friend. Interesting review; realistically, do you think it can justify the extra 1/2K over the new Hornet, Mark? Or are they totally different machines and a poor choice for comparison? It seems very good but every review of the Hornet so far has been glowing for 7K, with a common thread of maybe slightly lacking in looks. This would appear to be the opposite with cues from the very pretty Ducati. What are your thoughts, friend? Take care, Mark, great to see you out and about, friend, thank you.

Hi George yes the hornet is definitely the better value ...I guess it might go up soon as it's probably an introductory price...I found the benelli just as nice to ride though Less powerful but more torque ...better brakes and styling? Isn't the 752s used a 270° crank angle. The exaust note is similar to MT-07, Continental GT.

The Benelli 752 S as the name already suggests is powered by a 750 cc, DOHC, four-valve, parallel-twin engine which has 360-degree firing order and twin balance shafts. This engine produces about 75 bhp of peak power at 8500 rpm and 66 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Congratulations! This was also a good test. However, in order for this streetfighter to be bought often, it must be more beautiful, more colorful, more comfortable, more durable and significantly cheaper than a Ducati or Triumph. It lacks a nice lower wind deflector that covers the ugly exhausts, a windshield that protects the rider's upper body, a pair of fall-proof hand guards, a crash tube frame to protect the engine block, heated seats and heated grips, and a neater muffler, because even an Enfield growls better than this. it puffs. By the way, it turned out pretty well. I don't know what squealed on the bike when you first got on it. That last century plastic trim on the bottom edge of our petrol is downright awful. The welds are nice. The mirrors are narrow. Come on Benelli! But for now I'll stick with the CB500F ABS and the Tenere 700. Thank's.One more thing: the cross-linked frame only looks good in fiery red.
