2023 GMC Canyon 500 mile MPG Loop at 6100 miles on Odometer.
Lets see if the guys commenting that I did a mileage test too soon were right. I drive to LA and back over 500 miles in one day with a load.

Hopefully by the time I get my at4, the updates will be minimal….don’t want the dead battery update issue. Good mpg.

I know some may want more but it is what it is. A heavy body on frame with truck like aerodynamics. If you did this same run on the second gen with the V6 it would probably be same. I think that is probably the main complaint here in this new setup really is not improving MPG's much. The benefit is mainly more low end torque and probably better emissions which is actually important to the oem hitting their CAFE goals.

can u do a review of the cameras during night time on how clear it is. and talk about what standard safety feature came with the at4 and whats available as an option.. trying to buy a truck and the canyon at4 is on my list, along with frontier pro4x, colorado trail boss, taco, and ranger

Well one of my requests was the full 11 inch screen for the driver display. And all 24s will have that. Also I wish the back seat folded down, it is bolted to the back wall, to stow the jack behind the seat and give more storage room under the seat. Other than those two issues, its a great truck!

Yeah, I’ve tried for a week to install that update and it failed every single time. Outside the house, sunny day, I even connected the truck to my wifi, and no luck. Now it stopped reminding me altogether. At least it’s not trying to run it overnight and drain my battery.

Getting ready to place an order for a 2024 GMC Canyon AT4. Just wanted to know your thoughts now that you have owned yours for awhile.

Actually not much. The '24 will be better with the larger instrument display. I still wish the back seat folded down.

No updates on my 2023 2wd canyon elevation here in Dallas Texas. Maybe the updates are a California thing. I am getting simular mileage or a little better since i don't have 4wd, my truck may weigh a little less and have a different type rear end ratio more suited for hwy travel only.

I have had three updates so far, the first one killed my truck, the last two have gone fine. Yes 2wd will be easier on the mileage, but our fuel is 2x more expensive than yours in Texas. $6+ per gallon in CA right now.

dont know if you got the recall for the injector flow done but i just had it done and the milage is deff better

what is the fuel tank capacity ? is that lightly pressing the gas pedal , min. speed limit? or using adaptive cruise? im curious because as light as i try to be on my AT4 Terrain it just somehow does not give me the results i want although its got way less HP and torque and east coast so idk if the elevation has anything to do with it, or could be high winds.

@@ToddCotta are you goinna do a fresh update with your GMC CANYON? curious if this is a truck you’re def going to stick with or upgrade to something different
