I own a OEM+ modded RCF (CF/TVD) myself and I totally love the RCF TE. Mine fully spec'ed out is also not much cheaper than a new LC500 and about the same as a mildly used LC500, but it is heavily dependent on the demographics. I have driven the LC500. The LC500 is meant to be a pure luxury GT cruiser for the long distances that is also bespoke. RCF on the other hand, is about 420 - 600 lbs lighter depending on the variant and much stiffer core and tighter than the LC500 with about the same power. That makes RCF a better balance between high-performance and luxury/practicality. It is an M4 competitor while the LC500 is not. Whether it is doing fast runs or doing canyon carving or occasional track days, RCF is the car for that. That is what I wanted and I picked an RCF CF/TVD. Whether I would have gone with an RCF TE, if it had been available? Not sure, but I think over the long term, it is going to hold its value really well.

Fastest RCF sold to date on a track. Its such a underrated car. Love it so much bought one. Also a LC is far too heavy...yes better interior but different purpose. Example if you wanted a Lexus product and took a LC to a track you would be receiving car lengths of gap in that LC behind even a base RCF not even speaking to the higher end TEs/Fujis. After driving and testing ....the Fuji was my choice for the occasional track session and i cannot wait to capture her out there. Its a car that grows on you.

I drove an LC500. It's a beautiful car, but it's no where near how capable the RC-F is. It lacks the weight reduction, heat management, and tuning with the ecu. I'm partial, but my "15 rcf beats the snot out of cars at Thunderhill at temps above 100F. Tune the ecu, fix several bushings, and upgrade the pads and you'll be left was an incredibly capable car.

LAPD and CHP will chase you until you get bored and decide to give up, if you can call following at a respectful distance a chase. Arkansas State Police will ram you into the wall at 100MPH the first chance they get if it will end the chase faster and with less risk to bystanders.

It definitely isn't worth the cost of admission. If I were to buy an RC, it would be the regular F, which I personally think looks better, on account of the boy racer rear wing of the Track Edition. If I wanted a dedicated track car, I can think of many more vehicles I would rather spend my $$$$$$ on, some that are way faster around a track.

In all my years with an IS350 F Sport, I never got 18mpg around town 😂 I usually averaged 13-16 driving conservatively.

If you plan to track it and race yeah..... You can get an LC500 for that price. Slower but much more beautiful and Luxurious on the inside. Different strokes.

I'm not a fan of mismatched body panels. It looks like it was crashed and put back together with parts from the junkyard like a $500 Civic. Lexus can make performance cars, they're just too reserved to really let loose most of the time. I love how it still has a CD player because Lexus knows their target market. A Lexus should have at least heated seats standard. Except for the front end it looks BMW-ish, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

If I’m paying 100k I may as well get a gt500 for a track car daily or a hellcat for speed and comfort and groceries or trips
