We are Austin & Sarah.
The two of us grew up as city kids and after we got married realized we dreamed of living a simpler and more self-sufficient life in the country. Hey guys! Glad to see you back. Garden plans are great. I feel you on onions hahah that is one of my goals for this year. I have found that Nantes carrots work best for me. And yeah you need to step up your salsa game lol we are planning on doing the same thing. Good luck on everything! I am looking forward to seeing it all this year, and the little one too.

I will be looking at ours as soon as i get back from our trip to Israel. Im definitely not planting corn this year. Haha I did weed barrier through out my whole garden. What a blessing!!! I weeded 2 times last summer. That was it and each time took 30-45 minutes in a 75x32 foot garden. We live fairly close, so go for it. You wont be sorry. Also you should be able to grow peppers. I had banana, nadapeno, and bell peppers last summer. When i get back, i will let you know the variety i planted.

Wow going to Israel sounds incredible! I hope you have an amazing time! And thanks for the tip on weed barrier, was there a specific kind you used or any generic one would work well? We haven’t used weed barrier in our garden before.

@@CypressSparrowHomestead duraweave from menards. I got the 6'x100' rolls. I would make sure you place a stake every foot. I didnt do that the first time and believe me it was a huge mistake! That fall we had the 60mph winds amd the tornado that went thru neillsville....i lost it all to the farmers fence across the highway! I also placed pavers brick in different sections which actually worked as resting spots or turn and plant marigolds inside:)

It’s been overall good! The only issue we have is sometimes video calls lag behind otherwise we can’t complain. Speeds still run reliably.
