I completely agree - the car now looks a lot more "fit for purpose"

This looks beautiful. Here in South Africa it will be called a Jolion Pro. It looks great I must say. Hopefully we get the All wheel drive as well, if they do that then they will be even more dominant that they are now. Great video

Yeah I like the look (and feel) of it a lot more than the model we currently have on our shores. Hope both SA and AU get this new iteration too!

I have a question for you the only haval h6 available in our market is the 1.5 l turbo is the engine okay for such a big car and i guess the fuel efficiency isn’t going to be as good as the 2.0 litre turbo available in other countries what do you think thanks
@ValueCarsAU7 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure H6 is 2.0 on the Australian market and I'm unaware of 1.5L on any other market that I couldn't speak for in any case, as I'm not familiar with how they equip your cars.

Isn’t it cheaper for the company to unify the look of the product in all export markets?
@ValueCarsAU8 ай бұрын
One would think so! But at the same time if AWD and no chrome is only required in Russia, it's cheaper for them to keep those changes implemented on one production line instead of all of their international assembly lines, I guess.
@ibrahimtouman22798 ай бұрын
@@ValueCarsAU the production of Haval Jolion is highly localized inside Russia (around 80% as far as I know), even the engine is completely produced in Russia.. therefore, I think the local partner who produces these cars in Russia has some degree of freedom to slightly diverge from the main design imposed by the mother company.. I am not an expert, so don’t quote me on that 😆

I love your channel. Im in the market for a new car, and lots of reviewers are pushing the expensive brands that cost $20,000 more. I dont want to buy a car just because it's a popular make. Im open to chinese imports if they go the distance. The interiors are amazing. Im 60, and i love the futuristic look of the chinese vehicles. Hello from perth 😀
@ValueCarsAU5 ай бұрын
Hello, Perth! 😎👌Welcome to our little club! As far as your choice goes, it comes down to what does "going the distance" mean to you? 3 years, then change? 10 years and pass on to kids who learn how to drive (and will scratch/smash it)? Chinese cars are better than many badge snobs say, *BUT* they are of course not Japanese. As long as you're clear about that, you won't be disappointed.

I like the chrome delete, I looks much nicer blacked out in my opinion. Also physical buttons is more sensible. It’s a good looking suv. Pricing is the key if it comes to Australia as it try’s to build its reputation.

I'm not holding my breath for it to come to Australia, to be honest, but hoping that some of their improvements - such as the updated ADAS software - actually might...

The new Jolion is now available in NZ. No 4WD options. Really like the new look. Great driving car, much nicer ride than previous model. 3 Hybrid options for our market, Premium $34,990, Luxury $37,990 & Ultra $40,990. I have ordered a new Hybrid & will trade my H6 Ultra 4WD. Will miss my H6 but my other half finds it a little large. H6 was purchased to tow our caravan 1650kg which it did with absolute ease. I am sure when you get the chance to drive this new model that you will be impressed. Keep up the good work, enjoy your posts.

Sensor buttons? 🤔 Haptic sensors perhaps?
@ValueCarsAU8 ай бұрын
Haptic means feedback. I thought the previous generation Jolion had sensor buttons that didn't "click down", you just touched the LED indicator and that was it. Anyway, just add one plus one mate, surely not a point worthy of confusion?
@marcusgeorge18258 ай бұрын
@@ValueCarsAU Sorry, you are incorrect. Surely you have used touch screens before? This is what haptic is. Just a simple, but noteworthy comment as it’s the correct description/definition. Personally, I’m not a fan of them for basic controls, however as they are becoming more common than actual buttons we won’t have this choice. Car makers are getting smarter with utilising technology and charging extra for this when in actual fact it makes them cheaper to produce. Just a bonus fact for you.
