A comfortable, reliable mode of transport, at a reasonable price 👍

Would love to own one.

Actually, there IS A DRIVE MODE. "Sport" mode is activated on the prindle. There is a button.

Nice looking car!

My sister bought one and within 5k miles needed new motor mounts and then it was totalled in an accident. She replaced it and the new one with 3k miles is already in the shop making the same sounds.

@@marvin7533 and yesterday when she started it the dash started flashing that she was about to rearend someone and she hasn't even put it in drive. It keeps doing it on very hot days.

So ecomode and sport mode aren't drive modes? I've driven Corollas and they sure don't seem like cutting edge cars to me lol. I'm too tall to even get in a civic and they're so ugly I wouldn't drive one at gunpoint...

In a world where the Civic, Mazda3, Corolla Hybrid and hell even the Hyundai/Kia option in order of preference exist this is a hard sell. Nissans notorious reputation in reliability and memes is too hard to shake off.

Versa drives a LOT better (which is pretty crazy). Lighter steering and smoother ride.

And doesn't have bigger tires. Especially low profile 18 inch.

Decent for Nissan. But 29k is up market. A fully loaded Civic (now hybrid) is 31k. Has higher hp, slightly bigger, better mpg, at least as good handling. And historical reliability for Honda is a lot better. A entry level Nissan at 30k is a hard sell
@Sheepleton7 ай бұрын
Umm the civic isn't bigger, I'm 6'5" and can't get in one. The mpg isn't better in the real world...I'm getting well over 40 in my SV. Lastly...Nissan has sales, my SV was $4000 off. You show me a civic with heated seats and wheel with remote start for $20443.

@@Sheepletonexactly and you're absolutely right. I've done research as well car shopping. I'm located in Daytona Beach, and Sentras are now being discounted at $4500 currently my way including the SR Premium. I bought a Premium in May, and got $3500 off mine plus Nissan's $750 rebate. I don't understand why people always comment saying to get a Civic or Corolla instead. Toyota are MSRP markup thieves. I'm at the age and point of my life where I'm budgeting, and buying a very affordable car. I've owned a 2016 Altima SR that was very reliable, and never had transmission/CVT issues at 133,000 miles before it got totaled by a careless driver that hit me. The Sentra is pretty much a mini sized Altima spacious wise. My old Altima wasn't even fully loaded. This was a big time upgrade for me.

That cvt won't last 50k miles
@bw64157 ай бұрын
The CVT will be just fine. The newer generation CVT’s from Nissan don’t have the issues that SOME (not all) of the older ones had. I know several people that have way ver 100K miles on the CVT’S and are going strong. I have personally had several Nissan’s with CVT’s sine 2007 and none of them have ever had a single issue. I won’t hesitate to recommend Nissans to anyone I meet.
@marvin75337 ай бұрын
I wonder why the CVT in my old 2016 Altima SR never failed at 50k OP? Drove it with 133,000 miles, and only had to replace brakes, tires, battery, and an O2 sensor. Other than that, I bought a Sentra, and I know your claims are false with them being way more reliable than 2007-2018.

My neighbors own 2 Nissans with CVTs. Models are 3 and 5 years old. They’ve never had transmission issues. So I guess it’s hit or miss, right?

@@stevehammes haha nah man it's a matter of time 5 years ain't shit the old Nissans with the ka24 or vg33 where tj last of the indestructible Nissans plus for the money you can just get Corolla or if you want more zip a Honda their cvt transmissions have proven to last id honestly only get a Sentra that new if it was no more than 10k because that's what you'll get after those 5 years
