I did the same thing and agree completely. The CVO ST is already tuned for stage two. I put it on to make sure I keep my warranty.

Beautiful bike sir! I got the wal mart/harbor freight/TEMU/Amazon version of your bike. Just the 24 Road Glide without the CVO and the ST name and gadgets. I still love it. 😂

The only problem I see is that if you need service at HD and they realize that you do not have a tune after putting the full system (Nice choice with the D&D by the way. Exactly what I did) they may get funky and want to void your warranty.

I put the tuner on my CVO VVT and actually now I’m getting popping . It actually ran better before I added it . Harley set it up , and I haven’t messed with it yet . But really don’t think it was worth the money .

Same bike, had it about a month. Had the D&D 2/1 on my street glide. Unfortunately the book clearly says if you do anything to affect the EPA rating on the bike warranty is voided. Removing the original pipe with the No2 removal catalyst affects the EPA rating.😢 Will have to wait.

Bro that Corbin seat is sweet. I’m 5’6” and I have a 24 cvo st. What model is that? Will it work with the seat cowl? I need that seat in my life bro

I got it custom made by Byrd Coop Customs in California. In theory it should work with the cowl, I haven’t tried to put it on yet.

the tuner is not great but did you download tune then do autotune? Autotune adjusts those settings for air/fuel for you. My bike ran rich before i tuned it. I dont think you used the tuner correctly to set your air/fuel ratios

I actually did, first I downloaded the only map available, then I went back in later thinking I did something wrong and then I did autotune, it didn’t change a dang on thing for me 😩.

I contacted Byrd Coop Customs out in Cali. They build one off Corbin seats. You can tell him any color/pattern and he’ll design it for you.

I have no idea what my arm length is unfortunately lol. All I know is that those few inches made a huge difference. I’m actually thinking about going 10 inch rise and 2 inch pullback but I’d have to get longer cables.

A and B are just the letters used for Custom Tuning , since 1 and 2 are gears LMFAO I dont own a bike yet and I know this, did you get the tuning from Harley like shops do ?

Stock bars yes, Amazon risers, not sure of the brand, but they were only like $200, perfect solution for what I needed.

My boy purchased the same CVO and paid a pretty penny for it and in my humble opinion he purchased a nice paint job bc my built 124 smokes him on every level and is more reliable 😂his screen and other electronics have gone bad and many other issues but all he keeps saying is it’s a CVO 😂 but if you got it and want to spend it HD will gladly take one’s money, beautiful bike to look at but a custom build with a custom tune it’s not even close in performance gotta say HD has a hell of a marketing team enjoy! and ride safe Brother

I can definitely see where you’re coming from, to each his own. Personally, I have multiple bikes so I don’t have to choose one or the other, but if I did only have 1 bike, I’d probably get a base model and do a build on it. Def get more bang for your buck that route.

With only a cam job the 121 will out perform your 124. That stock CVO also handles better in corners than your built 124

It makes the bike run cooler in my opinion with just the pipe the heads and pipe gets super hot …

Have same pipe and se pro tuner having issue where bike is popping on deceleration and pipe seems to be running hot

No but all I did was search cvo st shock relocation on KZbin and a few different videos popped up with details. After I got the right sized bolts and spacers it only took me about 10 mins to change. Total was less than $30.
