Loved my Cummins pre DEF, until the transmission issues started. Waited to long for an upgrade like the other HD trucks, spun my tranny 5th gear again towing. Wanted another Cummins and couldn’t wait until the new 7 speed came out and the price is over the top. So a new F250 HO is sitting in the driveway now.

so this past weekend we drove all 3, all 3 fully loaded. the Gmc was nice but the most uncomfortable, seats sucked. the Ram was a Mega Cab short bed, very nice to drive and i am a Dodge guy, but the noises coming from under the truck even surprised the salesman. the F350 was a platinum Tremor. great interior, good ride, stupid power. we ended up getting the Ford, 1st ford since my 2001 7.3 6 speed. that was the best truck i ever had

If your towing in the flats all 3 will get the job done as smooth as butter. IF you are towing out west with all those hill and grades then your going to want that Cummins. The engine break on that engine is far superior to the other two. All three will get you up the hill but coming down the hill safely without burning up your brakes is a whole different story.

The RAM actually had the highest 5th wheel capacity of 19,900 conventional and 25k 5th wheel. The Ford is 22k and 22,900 and Chevy is 18,500 and 22,500. I am a Duramax guy. So, it was pretty easy to find this info.

I have a 2024 Chev Silverado 2500 HD High country Diesel and I would not recommend this truck. 1. It's a HD truck that DOESN'T tell you how much fuel you've used in liters or gallons, it gives you an estimated distance and a fuel bar but no actual number of liters used. 2. The gas pedal isn't telescopic (my 2008 chev has telescopic pedals). This is a huge safety hazard for short people as they have to sit way closer to the steering wheel, big concern should you get in an accident. 3. I just can't get comfortable in this truck, it's just awkward. 4. The wireless charging port for your phone is in the worst spot possible. If you have drinks in the cup holders then your phone is awkwardly locked in and difficult to get to. 5. The sunroof is stupidly loud when just the back portion is lifted up. For comparison, my 2008 Chev is almost silent when the sunroof is in the same position. I honestly feel like my 2008 Chev 2500HD Diesel LTZ was a better truck, the new truck may have a much better powertrain but it's less of a mans truck, it feels like it's been feminized to high hell. I'm actually calling the dealership tomorrow to see if I can return it.

I test drove a Ram 2500 two years ago. It was a pig. Felt really floaty. I then Test Drove a Silverado 2500 a few days later. What a difference. It still had the 8" screen but the drive was so much better. Haven't been in a Ford yet.

If one absolutely has to have the biggest wee nee of course it is Ford. Had two, a ‘15 and a ‘16. After having one CP-4 blow up…… no more. There are reasons that both RAM and GM quit using that POS. Ford says the failure rate is negligible. ( They don’t say what is actually is). But when one fails on YOU, it really doesn’t matter what they say. Then the dealers don’t have parts in stock, so even IF they warranty it your truck is down for a month. Other than that, they are all great trucks. Will pull way more than the average consumer will ever need. Drag race? WTF for? Buy a Mustang, Corvette, or Hellcat.

Well a very great comparison, the ram will ALWAYS outpull both ford and GM because of the fact that they went with the Cummins I6 that BY LAWS OF PHYSICS ram will always shine and pull better than both Chevy and ford so my money is on the Ram and can pull better up and down mountains. So the question is why does Ram use the same philosophy that 18 wheelers use in terms of the powertrain, because inline 6 engines CAN pull weight better than its V counterparts and I CAN BACK THAT UP
