I like the 4Runners. Nothing fancy. No BlingBling. Just a reliable ride to take you anywhere. Very solid on value. One of the best cars around if you ask me.
@DJSkandalous9 ай бұрын
I agree. But if I had to be picky, I would prefer the new Tacoma infotainment software in the 4 runner. I would also change the knobs to above and below the screen so you can make the screen wider. And it would be easier to use the phone and apps button. Also include a dedicated back button instead of seek and track since you already have a track rocker knob over there that works well! Powerlift isn't a deal breaker. I would move the heated steering wheel button over to the camera view button. To me its too close to the ignition and hard to see if you are driving. And camera view button would be better right below your console where your wrist rest. Also cameras in there needs to be higher quality. These cameras are useful but they look like they are from 2008 Auto lock when walking away could be more ideal. They have a pretty useless feature on the handle to also lock the doors. But it seems hard to get right every single time. So removing that (other then access) and adding auto lock would be great. I added alot here but it isn't too much tech added. Mostly it's just fixing what it already has. Also please remove the press to accept the caution screen on start up! That thing is annoying and can get frozen!
@DJSkandalous9 ай бұрын
Oh and one smaller thing I would adjust is just make that cubby under the AC a bit wider if possible. It doesn't fit phones like the galaxy note. Not sure if the thickness of its sides needs to be that way to keep it sturdy or not. I didn't like the double clock at first but now I love it since when in car play they push the clock down to the bottom right hand screen. I tend to look ar the digital clock alot more then the one on the screen
@AndyNC9 ай бұрын
@@DJSkandalous minimal changes. Surely the cam and screen quality is not up to date. I don't need a big screen. I don't see the need for multiple big screens in a car. I'm not watching movies in my car. Just a new software and maybe a better resolution for the screen. Better cams would be a plus especially when it gets dark. A car/truck is a tool for me. It needs to be functional and reliable first... then comes the design.

Sorry, I’d rather take my chances on the new Tacoma for 60k. If this was 40-45k, it would be a no brainer. In fact, this model has been out so long, it’s so popular, and so reliable, they could sell every unit if they knocked 10k off the sticker. Toyota doesn’t need the cash they already banked big time on these, new models are coming, and they need to liquidate stock to make room. Yeah the margins would be smaller per unit but they would sell significantly more units. That’s how Walmart got so huge. Anyway, at 60k that’s a pass for me
