The Triumph triples are extraordinary engines. Powerful, silky smooth, sound great.

I just bought a 23 900 GT aragon, to replace my 1200 XTR. Love my 1200 , but it is a pig to man handle. Only have 100 miles on my new 900 and can already feel the weight difference.
@MotorcycleDemoRidersАй бұрын
I've seen more and more riders going down in power. Even myself! I really like the Tiger 900. I imagine you dropped 50 to 60lbs from the 1200. That is a lot. Was it just the weight or what other reasons made you go with the tiger 900?
@stevenenglish-w7sАй бұрын
The weight only. The 1200 has all the bells and whistles, and that is what I like. The new 900 has all the same amenities just lighter. Buy as I am getting older (63) I find the 1200 is just so heavy to man handle, its starting to make me worry about dropping it. Honestly the way I ride I will never use, or miss all that power anyway.

I rode the 2024 Gt Demo at Triumph Waukesha and really liked it! Didn’t notice the vibes compared to the 2023 model. How was the heat on the inside legs? I have a 2016 Explorer 1200 XRT which I just put 3,400 miles riding to New Orleans and Galveston. Shaft drive and zero vibes. Triumph makes great bikes! New subscriber.

I'm not sure but I seem to be very sensitive to vibrations. This was by no means terrible but I could feel them. Its warm but not the worst. The 1200 P-Twin bikes are crazy hot especially the scrambler with the high exhaust pipe. I love Triumph bikes and I am thankful to dealers like Triumph Waukesha that is so very rider friendly. Appreciate you for taking the time to share and for your sub. Means the world to me!

nice chill video, video quality could be a lil better "not hatin, jus sayin". I think its a great value, its a premium bike and has almost everything you need. Compared to Harleys its a deal! Street bob run you about $18k with no heated grips, windshield, smaller tank, no adjustable suspension either. If you trying to save money and more unreliable performance, you can snag a KTM 790 for like $11k. Could always snag a Yamaha adv but i think this bike is a lot cleaner and looks better. If your looking for a quality "premium features" bike below $20k this, is it.

Appreciate you for watching and for taking the time to comment and share your thoughts. I keep working to get better equipment for better quality. Seems like a never-ending battle, but its worth it to document the bikes and my journey to ride them all. The great thing about bikes is that there is an option for everyone at every price point. It's honestly getting very hard to find a bad motorcycle. After riding 75 different bikes for 2024, i only hated 1 bike. All the others, while I may not want to buy it personally they had good qualities. You are correct. This is a premium bike with lots of features that validate the price point somewhat. Thank you again for the comment and i hope you continue to share your feelings in the future.

Own a '23 Tiger 900 GT Pro and have almost 9,000 miles on it. Pretty satisfied. If it ever came time to part with it, I'd definitely look to Triumph Waukesha even though I'm not local. I only got to stop in there once but I had heard good things and wanted to check it out, and the gent there was incredibly welcoming.

They are amazing to deal with and yes incredibly welcoming! The 23 Tiger 900 is a really good motorcycle. The 24 just made it that much better. Triumph seems to do a great job to make subtle improvements and modifications to enhance the ride. What other bikes are you personally interested in?
@TonyN4913 ай бұрын
@@MotorcycleDemoRiders I like the modern retros a lot--had a chance to ride a T120 in San Diego a few months ago, and that was pretty awesome. Have to admit though the budget tells me I'm not interested in any other motorcycles!

Nice bike ride. I think this is one of your better rides, maybe the dealer said take it out longer or you just didn't cut it down. Great looking bike and I would have a tough choice in this style of bike. Triumph, Moto Guzi, BMW, shoot even Honda's Africa Twin(its premium for sure) are what I would call premium adv bikes. ALTHOUGH 99% will never see dirt. I think people buy this type of bike to slay lots of miles and maybe a dirt fire road. I love your side view sitting on the bikes btw, you can tell how this would be all day riding. In a way I think bikes are getting too much tech. which is bloating the pricing. It feels like they artificially inflate the prices of adventure bikes cause it's the fad atm. No way should a superbike be less money. gsxr1000 for example is like $16k. Hey, your Moto Guzzi dealer has an adv bike with the v100 engine. Should demo that with this fresh on your mind. Everyone seems to like the v100 Mandello so maybe the v100 Stelvio is solid too.

I am always trying to find a balance for the length of the video but this one I just didn't feel like I could cut it any more than I did. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Lots of options for this money and this has a lot to offer for the money. Power is good, suspension works well, very comfortable and isn't over 20k msrp. The 1200 and the big adv bike are awesome but man the price tags are eye watering. I am editing the Mandello S for next week so hopefully it all goes well. You are right that most of these bikes will see very little off road and spend the vast majority of the time cruising. I would probably just buy a KLR 650 if I was going to do off road riding more.

The engine is boring somehow, despite being pretty fast, and usable throughout the rpms. Got hot too, despite the short ride.

I've thought that every triple I've ridden was characterless and boring, and I had a Speed Triple R with Ohlins for a while...

I'm guessing you've had a bad experience with Triumph Motorcycles. What is the issue you have with them?
