Did anyone notice Tom Kims last hole when He chipped out of the Sand trap the ball CLEARLY stopped snug up against the Putting Green Surface and the collar of the rough. Right up against it. Then after the camera went off of the ball it panned over to Kim walking across the green. Then Rory putted. Then when the camera went back to Kim His ball was 2” atleast away from the collar? Did it move? I was watching Golf Channel and there was no announcing or commentary. So any info would be helpful. (I did rewind my Tv footage just to make sure i wasn’t mistaken) i was not. The ball had to have moved since and if so did Kim addressing it cause it? Homa walked close to Kim’s ball while marking his own and for how soft the ground is did this cause it? Interesting!?????

My understanding was that his ball was partially on the short grass which means he can lift clean and place it. He can place it within a small area, 2” would be fine. That’s my assumption.

LOL! How ironic Wet Socks.....I mean Patrick was their eyes on the ground and he also helped out Rick with the round 1 recap. This was the same system that impacted the champions tour in Birginham with their first major Regions Traditions. They were able to play from 1:30pm-540pm due to rain. It was called at 545pm for the day due to electricity. Surprised Wells Fargo was able to get in round 1. Rory actually bogeyed 18 after they signed off. It didnt impact the odds that much. He is +400. Xander is +225. Thanks to that lucky drop on his 17th hole (the 8th) Xander has a 3 shot lead. People are saying Xander cheated cause he used the rules to his benefit. They had Dus on the show twice saying that. If you take his lucky break out, the real lead is only -4. Quail Hollow showed its teeth today.
