Great video. Thanks for all of the information. You mentioned tray cup holders for the theater seats. Are those included with purchase? Also, do you include the booster seats when the cab seats are rotated? Do you have a sewer hose holder? Noticed when opening the back closet, the doors seem to drag along the top of the bed. Doesn’t seem there is enough room to add blankets, comforter, etc. Are you planning to increase the inverter up to a 2000 watt, or have you already made that change? Sorry for all of the questions, but we are very interested in possibly purchasing the Lineage.

Really well done video. 2 questions: is it possible to add more battery capacity? what size is the included inverter?
@FinsAndPhotos13 күн бұрын
1,000 watt inverter with 600 watt solar. I suspect small appliance only.

Is the Lineage will be distributed in Canada with the new chassis 4500 and the 12125 GVWR ? What is the occc with all the options visible?
@FinsAndPhotos13 күн бұрын
Grand Design has stated that the OCCC for the Lineage will be at least 1,100 pounds. There aren't a lot of options affecting weight other than theater seating vs. dinette. I know of one version with full body paint, upgraded seat material, and the dinette with a OCCC of 1,112.

@ there is the generator which is heavy 178 lbs if i am not mistaken that can be replaced by second alternator Nations 280ah and ws500. The two battery can be replaced by one Lithionics 320ah 12v. I don’t know the weight of one 130ah but maybe two 130ah is heavier than one 320. The slide is probably too big and heavy. A layout with only a smaller slide for just the sofa bed and pantry or fridge would be lighter. A low profile without the bunk could reduce the weight. Maybe the frame you added is too heavy for this small sprinter. Some concurrent are getting sometimes 1000 lbs occc with the 3500 chassis so it must be possible at least to get 1600 Occc on the sticker at least on the 4500. Remove one tv also. I don’t know. 1100 is not enough to me.

Nice looking and great layout. How about that new 4 banger diesel engine? More HP and torque but longevity?????

Good grief, it felt like at least a third of the video was talking about competitors instead of the unit being toured! I think the midnight/cabernet combination would look a lot like the A Team van. Love the extra large cubby on one side of the bed and how the drawer becomes an end table on the other side of the bed.

minus tow bar, base plate, any cargo in car .... No toading with this one
@CC-gt3ro13 күн бұрын
@@TomDavisVideoit is better to have cargo on a mercedes chassis than towing capacity. The coach is small. The important is to be able to put occupants and cargo and water and have a good electrical systems. If you want to tow, you need a 3500 chassis but you probably would have only 920 lbs or even less 700 lbs occc. So what’s the point? If you want to tow you need a class A or super C. The 4500 is best for occupant,water and cargo and still capable to tow a scooter or a bike. But you can drive and park nearly everywhere even in town. The mpg also would suffer with a vehicle. A scooter/bike/bicycle is good enough for vacancy. If you stay at one location, you can rent a car to visit one day or two, same for the bike.

1100lbs after you fill the water and fuel tanks and with four occupants inside! Almost double any other manufacturer...
@FinsAndPhotosАй бұрын
We looked at a unit with the dinette and sticker read CCC of 1112. While this sticker did NOT specify passenger or fresh water tank weight, they are typically considered cargo. (Fuel is not considered cargo). So one would need to subtract the passenger and fresh water weight from the CCC to get your “actual” cargo weight. Still, the CCC for many other Sprinter-based Class C’s (including View/Navion) are often 800 pounds or less.

@@FinsAndPhotosbut with 1095 lbs more in the GVWR i expect more than 1100 lbs at least 1600 lbs.
@CC-gt3ro13 күн бұрын
@@thervhunter5808occc normally don’t include passenger and water. How can you say that? Except if the occc in the sticker is above 1700 lbs. If it is indicated only 1100 in the sticker, it mean your frame is too heavy, it take nearly all the additional GVWR. We want the 4500 chassis to have at least 1600/1700 lbs occc. We are two and a dog 447 lbs and occasionally 3 people and a dog 590 lbs and the water is probably 250 lbs (even if we don’t drive with full water). 1100-590-250=260 cargo left for the clothes and tools. It is not enough. The 4500 is supposed to provide 1095 lbs additional to the 700-900 lbs occc we have on a 3500 chassis. I understand Lineage want a stronger foundation but you cannot take the entire gvwr available…
@CC-gt3ro13 күн бұрын
@@FinsAndPhotosbut only 300 lbs additional when the chassis is supposed to provide 1095 lbs additional cargo to an existing 700-900 lbs, is disappointing. Lineage must revisit the wall board, to reduce the weight of their coach foundation.
