We absolutely do not want a 42" MLA OLED screen, unless they also have a non-MLA version. MLA makes the picture hazy. Like usual we learn that putting something that veil the picture, will make the picture characteristics change. So its not just matte vs. glossy. Even the best anti-reflective glossy coatings have something that changes the picture characteristics, but usually its not an issue and still retain a very clear picture compared to pure glass.

@@DeffineLG it's not brightness MLA is only illumination filter yellow green to make the picture color more brightness is kill the detail is kill the color weird and skin tone weird and what I don't like in LG they don't do any picture mork no good highlight at all

G series doesn't support 42 inches. So it could be in C series, but it's possibly on C6/C7. I'm getting the C6 regarding if it had mla for my pc.

think its been suggested many times its physically impossible to get that level of brightness and tech due to the pixel size limitation. Maybe 240hz possible. Hopefully wrong.

I'm waiting to pull the pin on a G4 65". I just want to see what the C5 will be, but I don't think LG is going to make it too good or too close to a G series. They need some reason to ask the price they do for those.

I was own lg c2 42 inch . Now after buying g4 65 inch i test this g4 on games its huge defrent btwen c2 and g4 i think g4 is perfect tv and i will not change it for many years .

@Takeme_DCUO I dont onow bro I just use it for gaming and its better . But I noticed that my eyes become red quickly when I use the screen daily. Frankly, I am not sure if the screen is the reason, and if so, then perhaps the MLA technology is the reason, because I did not suffer from eye redness and slight pain in my eyes with my previous tv c2

LG already has the 240hz panel. It's on the corsair xeneon flex. My guess is they are just going to improve on the older version of that and up the brightness. Minus the flex of course

An 8k 42” with a dual mode on 4K will be perfect. You can work at 200% scaling with perfect clarity. Use it for low/old games and switch between up-scaling in performance/ultra-performance or 4k mode. Of course, adding a third mode will be perfect, but honestly 1080p/42 is too much FOR ME.

@@504Trey If you do not need a thing does not mean that such product is stupid. 8k mode is not for gaming but for productivity, 220 ppi on a 42” will be amazing. Then you can use it with low-end/old games or using higher scaling. And switch in other mode if needed. I never understand how a product with high specs or high flexibility is seen as stupid only because someone does not need it. Just do not buy, whish for a product, speculate on it is not a crime.

@@504Trey even the 5090 wouldnt game 8k, it will be a card to get 4k 240hrz and ultra settings or 4k 120 hrz on super ultra settings, a 4090 still can't max out the best graphics gaming produces today.

You must not have much experience with the G series then because they suffer the same green tint issue. The G and C are effectively the same panels. The G just has MLA on top.

240 Hz is nice for esports. This will drive up demand for newer Nvidia Blackwell GPUs. While I hate the eye strain from black frame insertion (BFI), some people who either don’t get eye strain from BFI or are willing to suffer the eye strain from it will clamor for 120 BFI.

I don't think its possible for the G4 tv. It would need display port 2.1. HDMI 2.1 doesn't support the bandwidth.

Ive owned both. Please god do not get the s95c, it has so many issues. Take my word for it, plus the g4 is better overall

@beastieboys3 blackouts, hdmi failures, artifacts, power cuts. Samsung are such trash in terms of quality control. Models with the OCB are awful, but ive still had failures on panels without. G4 is flawless and stunning you wont be dissapointed

No it's absolutelu not. No content, No GPU's that can handle 8K even on 60fps. Only for desktop work might be okay for today.

Given the fact Samsung has brought Quantum Dot tech to the S90 series (direct competitor to the LG C4), I think LG would be seriously dropping the ball if they don't bring MLA technology to the C series in 2025. Just my opinion though . . .

I seriously doubt that. MLA is a technology in it's infancy. Any "haze" you think you might see in current models will be eventually be gone through improved, future iterations.

Why can’t we just have a 27 inch 4K OLED 240Hz.. 4K at 27in is literally THE BEST for desk use, you have so much more detail and 160PPI, and it’s great for comp gaming.
