My goals and intentions are to decluttering the home, grow more vegetables, eat less vegan processed junk foods and I also need to have a social media/internet detox.

Wise advice Maddie. I will be carrying on with walking lots and seeking out the areas of natural beauty in my local area (we are blessed with some lovely parks in South London). Also trying to keep my stress levels down (I work in a school so that can be challenging) and squeezing more fruit and veg into my meals. Happy New Year to you and Alex and thank you for all your lovely uplifting videos xxx

I watch your healthy habits every year and always look forward to it 🤗 this year I’m so glad you focussed on mental health - I truly believe health, wealth and happiness are a direct result of inner being. If everyone took an interest in being a better human being imagine the world we would live in ! My intention for 2021 is just that. Being kind to myself and to everyone I meet along the way 💜

You're such a beautiful person, on the inner AND the outer side. Here are the habits: 1. Taking a break (to decrease pressure, you can take a social media break) 2. Setting time Limits for social Media (so that the intuitive voice doesnt get quiet. You can set a time Limit that you only spent a certain amount of time online or that you only are online until a certain hour) 3. Adding more fruit/ veggies to you diet. (Insread of cutting out calories, trying to lose weight try get more healthy) 4. Walking every day (You dont have to Workout every day, just walk outside regularly it will Help your mental and physical health) 5. Sleeping more (Sleeping is underrated but it is much better than accomplishing things late in the night. Set timers for sleep) 6. Buying less (Pin the things you like, go back later and think if you REALLY need need them. It will save money, is better for the environnement ans mental health ) 7. Devellop a routine (Make a morning routine. Having morning Coffee and journaling will do the job. Also an evening routine is something you could stick to, to solifid your day) 8. Play (spend less time worrying about whether what you do is productive and more time playing with animal, watching silly TV and what makes you truly happy/ let your inner Child out) 9. Meditation (often times we spend our days rushing from one point of our to do list to the other. Just take 15 or 20 minutes to stop. Maybe with guides méditations) 10. Having a sunday Ritual (Make yourself a priority by having some time off doing activities you like such as having a delicious bar, taking a bath, calling à friend, yoga...) 11. Give up Perfektion ( it's a something that steals your time and adds room to un happiness) 12. Plan your Week on sunday (write à todo list with deadlines to see what iy comming up the next Week for more organisation) 13. Focus on your own goals ( Keep it simple, make it as specific and dont copy on influencers, friends etc) 14. Take 15 minutes of the Day to clean ( So you dont have to do it All at once) 15. Spend more time outside (It is Good for mental and physical health and will Help you calm down) 16. Start journaling (Write down your Feelings and create a space for yourself to truly be yourself) 17.Set boundaries (Be honest with friends and Families if certain things make you uncomfortable or you dont like them) 18. Get therapy (There is nothing shame full about struggling with mental health or other every day problems. Take the courage to speak if something is wrong. Do your Research to where you want to go. Madeleine herself hat a eating disorder at 18 and therapy helped her trough it) 19. Use Websites and Apps to organise your life (trello and Google Kalender) 20. Listen (sometimes it helps more than giving them advice. Listen for the sake of listening and not answering) 21. Slow down (be gentle with yourself, dont forget 2020's lesson and dont speed up after after what have happend) That's the habits :) Happy 2021 to you all!!!
@marleneada21123 жыл бұрын
recently I read about something that I really want to implement in the way of treating myself in 2021. the quote said that you should begin and treat yourself like your own child. you would always care for it, make sure that it eats enough and eats healthy, that it sleeps enough, has fun every day, you would be there for it when it has a hard time or is sad, you would make sure that it feels warm and cozy during the night and that is has a thousand reasons to smile every day. you would want to make your child happy, so why not starting with yourself and caring more for yourself? I found this thought very inspirational, maybe it helps you as well. have a good day and an awesome new year you all

Good to have you back! My goals: Be an instrument of peace in all things. Pray and contemplate/meditate more. Read more and watch less. Reclaim my creative life. Eat lots of simple and wholesome meals centered around fruit and veg and get rid of processed vegan foods. Walk an average of 10,000 steps each and every day. Make my sleep schedule a priority. Organize my whole house top to bottom, giving away things that I don't use regularly so that others may be blessed by them. Renovate my garden a bit and include as many vegetables as I can manage. Once the vaccine is available here, I will relish every opportunity to travel, every meal out, every museum, and every concert!!

I laughed so hard at the Sims' reference. All these tips are so helpful. Especially no. 13 about sticking to your own goals. I can't tell you how many times I've watched a video or gotten advice and because I didnt' really want that goal, i've failed. Like waking up at 5am everyday, when that isn't realistic for my lifestyle, I failed on the 3rd day and I felt so bad about it.

I think this list is everything I need for me and my mental health. Since 2020 I've been suffering and struggling with my anxiety almost every day. I hate the place I'm in right now but I'm trying to go through it. When I felt I reached my worst, I decided to start therapy as well (I wanted to do it for years, but I couldn't, it's haaaaard). But now I'm learning to put myself first, to listen to my body, to my mind, to understand my mind and how it works. It's the first time in my life I planned goals for the year, important ones, little ones but things I know are gonna be good for me. We can do it 💪🏻

I’m really glad #13/focus on your own goals was in there! I’ve really been struggling this week hearing everyone talking about their goals being to slow down and be less hard on themselves because I’ve spent 23 years doing nothing, and it’s only the past year I’ve got my ass in gear and started to build the future I want 🤍 my goals are to reduce my consumerism and make sustainable purchases when things need replacing, to work on my spiritual health, pass my driving test, and reach 25% body fat. That last one is something I’ve had to apologise for and explain multiple times but I love being lean and working towards a goal so I’m going to do it. Best wishes for the new year & I look forward to watching your videos!! 💫

Gorgeous video, Maddie. So approachable and thoughtful. Especially loved the number 11! I’ve started doing the digital detox for the first time this year as inspired by you - two weekends so far, and it’s been amazing for me. I’ve really been feeling my Instagram dependency at the moment and it makes me feel really disconnected from what I really want and need. I did just want to point out though that not “everyone” can walk as suggested. I know you meant no harm by it - it’s one of my goals for 2021 to become more aware of my privilege and think of others in different situations. Really trying to think outside of myself! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I hope you, Roxie, and Alex have the most amazing year!

I can't really walk more as I've averaged 75 miles a week over the past year. I love walking and listening to podcasts. If only I could sleep more - I've had insomnia for 36+ years. I hear all this about how sleep is so important but, sadly, many of us can't choose how much we sleep.
