Confusing God with Jesus confuses our faith. Over 30 times the scriptures tell us that God raised Jesus from the dead. The essential faith expressed in Romans 10:9 does NOT require us to believe that Jesus raised himself - but that God raised him. Confusing God and Jesus confuses his resurrection and our salvation in Christ. Scriptures considered include John 15.13, John 5.19, Hebrews 9.14, Acts 17.31, Romans 8.11`, Romans 10.9, 1 Timothy 1.17, John 3:16, Romans 3.25, Romans 5.12, 15, 17-19. Matthew 3.17, 1 John 1.7, 1st John 5.12.

@thefluffles6384 they have some the same. But not. Jesus is not Michael the Archangel. I found a few christian churches that are Bible based here. God does not need to recycl angles to make Jesus or anything else. Just the same as God does not have to split apart to make Jesus and a trinity. There are others who don't belive in the false trinity. Thank you

Please please listen - and maybe you or Anthony (or Sean Finnegan) do a response video to - Mike Winger's "explanation" of Jesus "as God" dying. It's in his latest Q&A (episode 16) but there's another answer in episode 13 too which is just as bad if not worse 🤦🏻‍♀️ [You have to go to "Home" on his channel rather than "videos"]. Firstly it's a classic example of an ungenerate PRIDEFUL man with a false doctrine trying to fit that doctrine in to what happened. He uses his own "logic" and the results are a MESS and utterly blasphemous. He actually says at one point "God died" 😳 He has sooo many blinded and fawning fans (more than 700,000 subscribers!!) and he has zealous and adoring admins who are quick to delete most comments which challenge him. I doubt he will ever listen to correction and repent but you never know...

The Son does nothing on his own because he is united to the Father in purpose and will. Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who came in the flesh. Jesus obeyed the Father perfectly and only spoke the words that the Father gave him. Jesus came down from heaven and, after his resurrection, returned to the Father in heaven. The Son Jesus Christ shares the glory which he had with the Father before the world was.

@@leenieledejo6849 In John 3:13, Jesus says he came down from heaven. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary. This is the incarnation. The Son of God took on humanity so he could be our perfect sacrifice for sin. The gospel accounts of Jesus' conception and birth are absolutely true. In John 17:5 Jesus prays, "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." Jesus was sent by the Father into the world. After his crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus returned to the Father.

Trinity, false doctrine The trinity doctrine is pagan, a man-made doctrine. Anyone who teaches that Jesus is fully God and yet fully human is a liar. The incarnation taught by men, defined as God becoming flesh is a lie. When a deceiver teaches the doctrine of the trinity you will ALWAYS notice that God and his Son take the 5th amendment; you NEVER hear their testimony or claims as to who they are......What is the testimony of God himself? Isaiah 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. (read the whole chapter)Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Hosea 11:9 I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city. What about his Son? He claimed to be the Son of God, over and over. 1 Corinthians 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Paul is telling you that there is one (1) God and one (1) Lord. Why does he say Jesus Christ, by whom are all things? How did God create the heavens and earth? He spoke them into existence. When you read Johns' gospel how does it start? In the beginning, ever heard this before? A Hebrew/Jew understands that if a scriptural text is referenced then the listener needs to be fully cognizant about the refenced text, as it will have bearing on the meaning of what is being said. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John is telling you that God was the "orator". God was speaking the creation into existence. This is the reason that Christ is called the word of God; this is his origin. Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (He made the worlds through Christ, God spoke them into existence) Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. (He made/created/spoke all things through Christ) Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God. (Christ testifies of himself that he was the beginning of the creation/ he is the word of God/which was given a flesh body, Hebrews 10:5/Psalm 40:6-7) Further in 1 Corinthians we find: 1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (appears we have a chain of command, not equality) John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. (God is supreme) Further in 1 Corinthians 15:27-28 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (Christ is in subjection to his Father) Zebedees' wife asked if her sons could sit on the right and left of Christ in the kingdom. His answer: Matthew 20:20-23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. (Christ is deferring to his Father, because it is his Fathers' decision) Matthew 24:35-36 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Christ said the temple (called heaven and earth by the Jews) would be destroyed. But why didn't he know the day and hour? Because the scripture states it had an appointed (kairos) time to happen, and the Father is the one who appointed that time. Mans' doctrine of the incarnation: God came down and took on flesh is a lie, nowhere taught in the scriptures, nowhere. The scriptures doctrine of the incarnation: 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (God sent his son, not himself) John repeats this doctrine in 2 John 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Can God be tempted by evil? The answer is no, James 1:13. Was Jesus Christ tempted by evil? The answer is yes, in every way, Hebrews 4:15. Do you see the lie? God sent himself to the earth, became a flesh man, pretended/acted as if he could be tempted, when in all reality he can't be tempted........the gospel becomes a farce, laughable. Just a side show people, nothing to see here...... God sent his Son, this message is sent in love, your friend

The fact that Mr. Gill used to believe the "God part" raised the "flesh part" from the dead shows that Mr. Gill never truly believed in the revelation that the man Christ Jesus is in fact the one true God manifested in genuine human form. The unipersonal God does not consist of parts. But the unipersonal God is perfectly capable of manifesting himself in genuine human form _within_ our space-time continuum, while simultaneously remaining unchanged in his eternal existence _far beyond_ our space-time continuum. *1 TIMOTHY 3:16 (KJV)* And without controversy *great* is the *mystery* of godliness: *GOD was manifest in the flesh,* justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Jesus can be called "God" or "the Son of God" as he himself explained in John 10:31-38. Calling him God or the Son of God does not make him the same or equal to the Father who the Lord clearly testified as the only true God. The last part of the verse you have just quoted shows that the "God" referred to here cannot be the Father. The Father is "not received up into glory". It is the Father who received Christ into glory. So the verse could best be understood by replacing the title "God" in it with "Son of God" or "Christ" as below: "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: CHRIST was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

@yasaaley
@yasaaley Ай бұрын
@@euston2216 @TheCrucifixFishTestifies is right about the translation of this verse by other Bible versions. Below are a few: "Christ came as a human. The Spirit proved that he pleased God, and he was seen by angels. Christ was preached to the nations. People in this world put their faith in him, and he was taken up to glory." [CEV] "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; He who was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory." [ASV] "Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was revealed in flesh, vindicated in spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory." [NRSV] The meaning of this verse should be clear to any genuine seeker of truth. In the original Greek text it is "He" and not "God". But if even it is "God" as in the KJV it is certainly not referring to the Father as explained in my first post. The Father cannot be received or taken up to glory by anyone. The Father receives or takes up the Son to glory.

@@yasaaley If the Father "came down from heaven" _without leaving heaven,_ and manifested _himself_ on earth in genuine human form, as _his own_ Son, then he most certainly could be received up into glory.

Absolute false theology. "Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood" Acts 20:28 (NASB). The blood of Christ is the very blood of God which was the only sacrifice worthy to satisfy the wrath and justice of God towards sinners.

@@jonathanpulgarin So the Son is divine and God but has blood? How do you know this? Existing before Abraham does not make Jesus God, nor does using a perfect Man as the blueprint for creation, our classroom, make the Man a God. Jesus has a beginning. God is Eternal and Infinite, He created a Son with blood, it is His blood, not to say literally poured from God or by flesh to flesh as humans share blood.
@jonathanpulgarin

@@SoftBreadSoftware Jesus gave himself the title “I am” which when you study the old testament that was a title God gave himself. The Great I Am is God and in the Gospel of John Jesus gives himself that title of God and after he says that the Jews tried to stone him for they knew what he was saying about himself and thought it to be blasphemous. Jesus incarnate carried two natures the human nature and divine nature. In the cross his human nature died but his divine nature cannot die. The two natures are united so closely that the blood of Christ is the very blood of God as referenced in Acts 20:28. You fail to understand what the Book of John is saying when it says in the beginning was the word. It is claiming Jesus to be eternal and says that everything that was created was created by him meaning he is indeed God. Three persons, one will, one God. That is the orthodox view. Read about church fathers especially Ignatius of Antioch who was ordained by the apostle Peter. Ignatius asserts Christ as God and Savior
