Imagine not stopping for even just 10 seconds in a gym to watch someone Cj your fucking dream backsquat. Gotta love normie gyms. Edit: to be clear stopping and watching wouldn’t be done just so you can be mirin’ (which we all would). It’s common practice in WL gyms to stop lifting and be silent while someone is attempting s big lift and then cheer on your fellow lifters. HOWEVER, this is just a normie gym so those rules dont apply. I just thought it was funny.

Lasha could literally walk into a commercial gym, Clean and Jerk 260kg and next to him would be a dude curling 25kg in a squat rack with a belt not knowing what he just witnessed. The reason for that is the overwhelming majority of people in a gym don't lift anything over 120KG in any compound movement so they've no clue how difficult it is to be strong. An even bigger majority does not have any clue what a snatch or clean and jerk is. And I met maybe 2 people other than myself who follow olympic weightlifting at all and know how hard even a 100kg snatch is if you perform it with proper technique.

99% of human beings can't squat this. Now we are talking about Snatching it ..... Wonderful strength. Among the millions of influencers taking steroids to be bulky, it's nice to see raw strength.

This is like my 4th time rewatching just to listen to it. The shoes hitting the platform and the barbell hitting the ground is like ASMR

So yesterday I saw some guy doing C+J in my commercial gym and had to check the plates 3 or 4 times..... 3 reds and a yellow for 200kg total!!! Someone mentioned his name and that he had a KZbin channel so here I am..... Absolutely incredible to see in real life!! Looked surprisingly small for someone throwing such insane weight about. Packing some serious muscle of course especially the shoulders but unless you saw it you'd never think he could move such huge weights. 100% respect!!!
