I mean is not that bad, 72 hours later i feel good, not that anxious
@kalleymagel70863 жыл бұрын
It took me a long time to realize how bad nicotine caused my anxiety to get. I am about 2 weeks nicotine free and most of the depression/anxiety has faded but most times I find myself feeling very unmotivated with no drive. I have little things that I need to get done in the day that i just cant seem to make myself get up and do. Any tips to help with lack of motivation/drive?

I literally just started quitting yesterday. I’ve had my juul every day for three years. I’m in hell right now, and I needed this video so much. Your metaphor about imagining the nicotine clusters dying is helping me so much, almost immediately. Thanks for the advice! Much needed!

Seems like there are different levels of addiction. The guy I started smoking with when we were teenagers decided to quit and it was like giving up nail biting for him. He said, "I wanted to smoke but it was no big deal." Me, I'm like Keith Richards coming off heroine. Every cell in my body screams bloody murder. With other things it was no big deal for me. I quit drinking and it didn't bother me at all.

Same here man, did you ever quit? Any tips for someone similar to you?
@jeffreygleaves29312 жыл бұрын
@@IckySquare0 I was able to white knuckle it through using the patch. It wasn't easy but it at least put me where I could resist without hurting. -- I ended up having to work with a bunch of smokers though and it wasn't long until work frustrations made me bum one and I was right back to where I started. I've been able to stay off them now by vaping though I know giving that up needs to happen before long. Vaping is a hundred times better than smoking though and I think it will be easier to give up. The biggest tip I ever got was "You have to be willing to go through it." That's what it comes down to at the end of the day.

@@jeffreygleaves2931 thanks for replying man. I work with a bunch of people who vape which is currently what I’m trying to quit. Everytime I see one of them take a puff I feel my mouth water and I imagine the buzz. Really tough to do I won’t lie. But I’m starting up again tomorrow on quitting. Wish me luck as I which you luck as well. If you need a quitting support friend type thing I wouldn’t mind, cheers

Hi doctor, would you say the longer you been smoking, the longer the effects from CHS last?

Thank you. Addicted to nicotine for 13+ years and never tried to quit. I'm 24 hours in cold turkey. I know it's only just begun. But I'm thinking positive. It's not as bad as I thought it would be!!! Only had 1 headache in the first 4 hours. Advil helped alleviate the pressure. Now it's happy thoughts overcoming the bad thoughts.
