Forget all you can see in this vidéo. Keep your money . As à french , look for the small street without tourist ,there is many boulangerie, pâtisserie, restaurant so cheaper and very good . A jambon beurre don’t coast 14 € but 3€ . Thé price for à coffee is 2 € maximum ,à beer 3€ . Look where the locals are going ,they know what to do .

I love Mink her food reviews! So spontaneous and pure 😍 if you guys have the chance you should try Boeuf Bourguignon and a classic Gratin Dauphinois honestly my last meal on Earth would be my moms gratin dauphinois in a huge portion size and a delicious leg of duck confit! I often make the escargot pastry at home and use all kinds of different flavourings as filling.

I always loved your videos but often wondered if what you showed were things that the locals were really eating. But as a French I can confirm that you perfectly chose what to try out, these are all things that we do eat weekly. I also realise we really can't guess how good those things you're showing really are through just a screen.

Too bad you didn't try the "flan" at the boulangerie!! You really have to try it, and that one looked so appetizing! I also suggest eating éclairs!! These are very French! Try them from a boulangerie (as opposed to a pâtisserie).

Pain au chocolat / Croissant / Pain au raison - We have tradionnaly 'viennoiseries' only on sunday morning in France, and only from Patissiers. (but today i fear the worst with fatty food and supermarkets offers..). And my grand-mother used to set them on a low heat oven for 5 minutes before plating. Mon souvenir ma Mamie Madeleine.

#LukeMartin always comes through with his "pull no punches" travel review providing much needed personal insights and inside information to balance with the good . -- the smells in certain areas ; " . . .that's a rat running by . . ." (lol) -- "Selfie- Central" ( be respectful and "leave your pride at the door" ) -- the "tower" -- pretty pricey -- that the quality of food is exceptional Always good to get more perspective - ie, from Mink's review
