I've been looking for Hoop-Exercise videos and this was perfect! I love that you focus on hooping on both sides~ Thank you for this!

Yeay! Sop glad you like them 😁 Yes working both sides is essential! Especially if you plan on hooping a lot! 😉 And once you're addicted its hard to put the hoop down.

Level appropriate and mostly friendly for my small space! My apartment's ceilings are so low I can't straighten my arms overhead, and I have to do tiny grapevine steps so I don't clonk the wall or knock something off a shelf. I look forward to trying more of your videos!

Absolutely! Every time it will get a bit easier. You can also increase the challenge each time by putting even more energy and poise in the dance moves.

Yes! Training the weaker direction feels a bit like starting to hoop again, but it does improve! Keep up the awesome work! 😁

Hi, I'm a 36 year old male - pretty average all-round, about 5ft 9in in height and weigh 12st 11lbs, always been pretty good athletically, I'm looking to lose a bit of weight and tone up, what size hoop do you recommend for me?
@hoopplusfitwithscarlett77874 жыл бұрын
Hey Fisco, good question! I’d say you probably want a hoop 90-110cm in diameter with 25mm HDPE tubing. This will tone your abs and you will still get an aerobic workout from but will also prep your body for dancing with lighter hoops. Should you want to dance around with it. You could go heavier than that and get a weighted hoop (with metal inside). However if you’re going in this direction I’d advise to get a ‘lighter’ one that is around 1 kg rather than the really heavy ones 3kg. As they can actually get in the way when doing the balancing hoop exercises. Also please don’t get one with nodules on it! 🙈 Those are torture devices and will give you bruises guaranteed! In general, I feel simpler is better 😎. When buying a hoop it’s also good to see who is making hoops your area. You can often find local hoop maker on Etsy. Here is my guide to finding the right hip for your needs. I show both the Heavy Dance Hoop (90cm dia-25mm HDPE) and Weighted Hoop (109cm dia- Metal and foam) kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIWvaqKnbpanitE
