@@collegebro85 The steps taken to strengthen the O-line, D-line. The play calling for the most part actually utilizes the strengths on the team. @@Cowboyfan6496 I think you misunderstood what was asked. They were asking before the season began: in any year, before any games played, once decided that there would be a 4-team selection playoff starting back in 2014, what were the odds or chances that TCU would be the Texas team most likely to at some point be the first college from Texas to make a playoff selection slot? That is what they were talking about. They were not asking as a season unfolds the likelihood that TCU has best odds of being the first college from Texas to be selected. And it may still not happen but end up being Texas or some other college in the future that does it, as TCU has to win out to get in. But if you go by after the season starts and is close to completion, then there are the seasons of this year, 2014, and 2015, and 2017 were given great odds towards the end of the season not before or in the early part of those seasons either. So here’s hoping they cross the finish line unscathed and victorious and charge all the way to national champions.

LK w/JP, the performance TCU placed on the tv screen blew me away. I have a slight affinity for TCU (having completed a one-year certificate program there), but I live (and die) with the Longhorns. The offensive effort was worse than abysmal...why Sark did not stick with the run a little more (Bijan usually breaks one or more, after pounding 3 yards and a cloud of dust all game) - Texas only had 22 runs (for the entire backfield)...and, Sark stresses every PC that Texas is a physical, running team. He placed too much pressure on Ewers, and Ewers has failed to deliver the last few games (mental/physical, I don't know), but he should have let Hudson Card take the reins and see if anything changed. Again, not making excuses (or trying not to), but Texas is a very young team; whereas, Duggan and TCU are mostly senior-laden leadership, filled with experience. Again, not taking anything away from TCU, they dominated Texas. I'm just (almost) at wits end, trying to figure out this team. No matter what, though, Horns always Up!!! BTW JP, you did not mention Texas defense played an outstanding game (effort wasted, unfortunately) - holding TCU offense to 17 points and 299 yards total offense...again, I know, TCU won, so they get the pub!!!
