Price does not equal best taste. Have you ever licked gold jewelry before? It does not taste like something you'd want to eat...now try tasting a really expensive diamond and let me know if that tastes any better...these people with all their money spend like idiots... Sure, it's their money, they can do whatever they want with it, but I still say they're spending it like idiots...lol

People who are getting mad over this need to calm down. It is their money after all and they should spend it how they choose. And to those of you complaining that there are people who are starving in the world, that is irrelevant; that statement would only make sense if these people were spending thousands of dollars on food that they were going to throw away instead of eat. Also, it is made clear that the money spent is going to charity so what exactly is the problem here? If they want to waste their own money, that is their decision.

@jeffrey87709 жыл бұрын
Ms18girly Yeah sure, go on.
@Ms18girly9 жыл бұрын
Jeffrey Li Okay, let's use an analogy, I'm going to try to make this as uncomplicated as possible. Say that I have 1 dollar and I have the option to spend 25 cents on whatever I want. I choose to spend that money on magic beans with the knowledge that the proceeds from the beans will go to charity. Yes, it is silly of me to buy magic beans but ultimately the money I am spending is going to help other people in need. Does it really matter that the beans aren't anything special if the end result is the funding of a charity? Obviously, magic beans are a waste of money but instead of seeing it that way, why don't we look at it as me donating 25 cents to charity and getting some beans in the deal. It is really not that different from the people who buy the red poppies to fund charities that support veterans, the difference is that those people are ultimately donating 2 dollars to a charity, while the folks in the video are giving 25,000. Why are people so mad about this?
