Hey guys, Mike here (again, KZbin not letting me comment via the List25 account). We read your complaints yesterday about the sound effects; the vast majority of you did not like them. We want to show you that we listened so we took down the video, removed the sound effects, and this is the re-upload. When I tell you guys I read the comments, I meant it. We couldn't do this without you. So thank you for both the constructive criticism and the support.

Great list Mike. Been binge watching episodes since learning you guys were back. I'm surprised KZbin allowed this video to air since they've gone off the deep end with their overboard and completely arbitrary censorship of content creators (and their threats of demonetization against creators who told KZbin to bugger off with their bullshittery). I’m an older lady, but I love KZbin videos. I can’t imagine what that girl went through. Sadly, with the technology, comes a greater risk of being a target of abuse. Everything from convincing someone they are fat and driving them to anorexia, to death threats, and badgering someone to the point where they self harm. My heart goes out to Amanda. The persons involved should have gone to jail for a long damn time. So many innocent people are being verbally harassed every day. I’m wondering where it will stop. 😢

Glitter Critters was the informal name of a hugely popular KZbin about using glitter for art and personal decoration. What could go wrong with such an innocent topic? When views fell off, leaving the maker cash strapped, she started faking events. She showed herself winning an award at big gala event that she actually only attended, staging her receiving it at the podium before or after the audience was there. Then she staged her boyfriend having a mental breakdown before the camera. She lost her sponsor. Not sure what else happened.

The ongoing iilluminaughtii drama which among many other things includes accusing the youtubers that she plagiarized of plagiarizing her, economical abuse and bullying of her co-creators, is worth a place on this list. However it is so complex that you would probably need an entire video just to give a brief understanding of what is going on.

Based on these comments I've just read, I love how much you listen to your viewers, Mike! I think you're one of the few YTers I follow who'll actually reply to my comments individually, despite having a huge amount of views and subscribers... That means a lot to me, so thanks a WHOLE lot, Mike! 🥰 Anyway, back on topic of the vid... When you mentioned Viacom, I remember some friends of mine had years back made fan vids of the JN fandom. While some of them are still on YT to this day, others got annoyingly deleted by the site, it saying the vid violated copyright terms or something... That was super annoying to me, cuz some of the deleted ones I really enjoyed, being a huge fan of the show and all... Since Viacom is partners with Nickelodeon, I can kind of understand where they're coming from in deleting some of those vids, but some of those had in their descriptions that no copyright infringement was intended by the users uploading them, so that's very irritating to me; I think YT should've left those particular vids alone so current viewers could see them... YT has really ticked me off sometimes... 😒🙄🤦‍♀

Over the years I've known a couple of people who faked their own deaths in social media. Yeah, for attention. Then come back to life a few weeks later. Pretty sick. One person was a friend, I shed some actual tears for the person. Then come to find out they were fine (physically) 😡

The "React Scandal" reminds me of a Kitchen Nightmare's episode. In the episode the owner of "Cafe Hon" (hun, you know hun-ny) Denise Whiting actually Federally Trademarked not only "Cafe Hon", but also the "Hon". Her Trademarking "Hon", almost crippled her business. In Baltimore "Hon" is a universal term of endearment that the residents use. So the residents revolted against her. Denise even went as far as sending legal "Cease and Desist" letters via her lawyer to several other businesses and residents stating they either remove the word "Hon" from what they were doing or she would sue to be able to receive any and all profits they made by using that word. Yeah, her greed almost ended up bankrupting her. And she would have deserved it.

One controversy I can think of was rather serious, but it was only really known in the VTubing community. Now former member of the VTuber group hololive, Uruha Rushia suddenly had her contract with the company terminated on February 23rd, 2022. The reason for her termination; she was supposedly violating her contract by sharing sensitive information to third parties, one of which was a well known Japanese drama channel, who frequently gets referred to as "Japanese Keemstar", this sensitive information ranged from confidential information about hololive as well as information on the other talents, both of which are not to be shared outside of the company. The person behind Uruha Rushia still streams as a VTuber though, both as the independent VTuber Mikeneko as well as VShojo member, Nazuna. As this was most likely an NDA breach, she actually got off rather lightly with just a contract termination, as NDA breaches can result in prison time in Japan.

There’s a recent youtube controversy that is pretty big and is effecting several youtubers I watch. Basically this youtuber who goes by the name of Blair or iilluminaughtii was exposed for several things such as abuse of power, harassment, and more. She’s just a huge piece of shit and several people were hurt by her. Some of the people that she’s hurt are The Click, Oz Media, Wonderstruck Guy, and One Topic At A Time.

the only one I really care about was when Mike left List 25, but they had no idea how huge, international and generation-spanning his fanbase was.
