Doing this later tonight! You are the GOAT! This is phenomenal! I get fed up of typical stretches and not feeling much is going on, but with this I used both muscle engagement while also relaxing them and stretching them. As someone who dreamed of becoming a gymnast as a kid but never getting that dream realised this man and his workouts are gifts from the heart! Utter legend 🤙🏻

@@michaelwilliams949 haha yeah I am going to make a big video on back bends soon. I used to train bridges etc as I was chasing high level back bending handstand goals such as hollow back etc. I used to just blindly pound into the stretches. I gained range but was feeling horrible. I remember the day when I learned that this is really not how one is supposed to train the back. I adjusted my technique and hot damn was I able to move differently. When you start using your back muscles to pull into the stretches instead of your arms and the wall/ chair etc things truly change. I am still working on some other stuff for you guys but come fall I will take a deep dive into back bending. Itll be great!

Hi Coach, Great Routine...I appreciate your attention to the detail of each stretch. Enjoy doing your front and middle stretch... Please consider doing a follow along mobility workout, Thanks!
@CoachBachmann4 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for the love. Glad you are enjoying the routines. When you say: "Mobility workout", what do you mean exactly? Could you be a bit more specific please?! I'd be more than happy to get something going for you!
@masterofreality56824 ай бұрын
@@CoachBachmann Hope this helps...A routine that would support mobility with exercises that incorporate strength/flexibility and balance for the entire body. An example would be ....is a HS against the wall where I practice lifting each hand for time or back bend push -ups. I feel a routine like this would make a great foundation for your videos and doing a follow along is motivating especially when led by someone of your experience ! I appreciate your reply and interest, thank you.

@@timbo7158 I’m not complaining, I follow many accounts and value ones that give good quality like this one, just that personally adds are enough for me to not repeat it, and rather then just not playing again I’d rather share this information so that the creator knows the reason, it’s pure feedback. It is completely up to the creator if they would like to act on it or not. Something that as a creator myself I really value ✨

What do u think about practicing back flexibility in scorpion hs?
@CoachBachmann4 ай бұрын
Well. Maybe I am a bit boring here but I do not love using the scorpion handstand to stretch the back. I believe a back stretch or really any stretch should be save and scalable. Handstands are technical. If you want to be good at them you have to train them but I do not recommend using scorpion handstands with the main goal of increasing flexibility. There are significantly more effective ways of stretching your back. Your scorpion handstand should be seen as technical training making up a part of your back bending workout.

this is a nice one to do! I have a question about stretching the hamstrings in pike postions. When I keep contact between quads and ribs, I cant extend my knee but i feel a intense stretch in the hamis. If i straighten the knee i will lose contact in order to maintain atp but I only feel a stretch in the calves and nothing in the hamis. On what should i focus? kee extension or quad&ribs contact? tyvm
@CoachBachmann4 ай бұрын
Hey. This is a good question. Thank you for that. I want you to take an in between cheat step here. Take a yoga block and place it between your ribs and quad. You will be able to "maintain" contact and with that engage all the right muscles whilst also being able to fully lock out the knee! Let me know if this makes sense!
