Join me for this 25 minute gentle Yin practice for our hips. This sequence will give you a deep stretch in your legs, specifically your hips and hamstrings. It is great to do on your rest day from a more vigorous yoga practice or from the gym to aid in muscle recovery. We will settle into each posture for a few minutes, letting time and gravity do the work for us. While no props are needed, you may feel more comfortable in some of the poses using either a folded blanket or a pillow or two for some extra support. To that end, it may be a good idea to have those things nearby just in case you decide you'd like to use them, either way is just fine though. So grab what you think might help you get the most out of this practice and lets see what some time in these postures will do for us...

Just what I needed. Didn't feel like doing yoga today as I was a bit sore and tired, this was the perfect pace! I am now glad I didn't skip my practice today.

Hi Justin!Beautiful class but l will retry!My toddler was all around but he prefers Kim's classes so this yin yoga wasn't mindful at all hahaha!Thanks!

I enjoy the classes very much, but seniors like me, wake up in the morning as stiff as a poker and forward bends were impossible without some pre movements! And a little less chat please Justin 😘 🙏

Sorry for the delay in my reply, life with two little ones has swept away my sense of time. I am glad you enjoyed the practice. I fully understand early morning inflexibility. One of the beautiful things about a Yin practice is we are targeting the connective tissues more than the muscles, so stiffness can actually help a bit in that regard, counterintuitive though it may be. Anyhow, thanks for the feedback, I'll try to keep the chat to a minimum in the future! - Justin 🙏🙂
