theres a bit of a running joke among people like me that were on sites like deviantart, amino, google+, etc as kids about how we had adult "friends" that would trauma dump the most insane shit on us like we were their therapists, like it was a shared experience we all had. what this dude said about "talking about [his] past" to these kids reminded me of that. I don’t know what this guy's "past" is but if its making these kids uncomfortable to hear, he should keep it to himself. people like this are either too immature or just don't care about how their actions affect the kids they talk to (ie. a ton of anxiety).

I was friends with a 20 year old on amino when I was 13, (he was aware of my age, wasn’t grooming me or anything tho) and he asked me for advice because one of his other online friends was telling everyone that he was planning to commit suicide. I guess he must’ve been desperate. I attempted to talk the guy down with him, it wasn’t working really. But then the dude I was friends with posted a picture of a knife saying he was going to kill himself if he did, which got him to stop, shit was nuts.

I feel like one of the reasons why these basement dwellings no lifes who basically live in some virtual reality game are like that is because if it was real life they would easily be called out for, and since it's all online there would be less people who would call them out for thier degenerate behaviour. And since its all online meaning it's not real.

why is it always Sonic fans and Pokemon fans that are like this.Something about these two franchises brings out the mental illness in people. You never see fallout or dark souls fans that end up like this because we have good videogame taste.
@dontmindmefangirling31233 ай бұрын
More so than video game taste, it's because these aren't games for children. Look at Bronies. The more you're into a thing for children, the more you become a deranged, immature adult like these

ok. I'm a former banjo fan that used to use twitter to post fanart there. I was knee deep in the fandom for a couple years, so lemme give you some insider info that has long faded into obscurity. I even had my art featured in their fanart fridays and even designed a banjo kazooie themed shirt for them through DesignByHumans. I used to be friends with the Rare ltd community manager that now works for playtonic. did you know that the banjo kazooie fanbase on twitter is so bad that the community manager staff at rare needed therapy? litterally the staff and devs had to deal with harrassment every day. and thats why i left the rare community too. this guy is an example of one those bad apples i used to deal with. some of them never grew up like this guy. Edit: I forgot to tell you the story of how one time, I politely asked one of my mutuals to please stop bothering rare devs to bring back banjo kazooie. Like I wasn't even mad, I was going as easy on him as possible. Mind you, im not even joking, he would @ and email rare EVERY DAY FOR YEARS. He's still sickly obsessed. Then his two friends started fucking harassing me so bad that even the community manager and a tew other staff members got incolved and diffused the situation and even DMed me. I had to lock my account for a few days. Overall, especially on the artist side of the fanbase, it was chill for the most part besides that. Nowadays the biggest drama are people shitting on Banjo Tooie more than nuts and bolts, and I see some toxicity spilling over to the banjo kazooie subreddit. But that's the latest from what I've seen personally a few years after I quit twitter.

Honestly I enjoy the way you go from your commentary and stating of how stupid and over the top this guy is into an instant report and dropping of any playful facade the moment he breaks a literal rule/TOS. Feel like i never see that from commentary channels

29:20 Yep, nail meet hammer. I've seen this shit play out for *years* with my brother and its nooot looking good. They're absolutely hellish and draining to live with especially when said mom, who raised you completely differently mind you, refuses to let anyone with a brain to step in and teach him some respect. All you can do at that point is back your bags and *run* as far away as you can, and never look back. Felt I should clarify, the reason I'm *not* anything like this is because I had 3 other family remembers intervening going "wtf are you doing"

I can understand that kids can be pretty annoying and obnoxious online. Everyone at one point has had a run in with an instance once I’m sure. But as someone who’s on the high end of the spectrum, this isn’t the way on how to do it.

Just a quick update for anyone's interest and relevant to future SSG videos after Claw uploaded this initial first part. Over on a reupload of the original rant video, Singtor Records responded. Singtor is the VRChat kid with abandonment issues who, according to SSG, was "you know what banged by somebody." Singtor says "this whole video was because he was trying to kill himself in the westopolis world and we all told him to get his shit together and thar was 2 or so years ago so idk why I'm just figuring out he made a video ranting on me and my friends." He also commented on the "choose the right" path ultimatum SSG accused. "It wasn't an ultimatum we just told him to get his shit together because he was acting like a kid which is really embarrassing when you realize I was 14 at the time."

I think the whole “bullying causes suicide” was an excuse in schools for us to not get bullied or for an excuse for teachers to not intervene when kids would get bullied. If your child is getting bullied, put them in sports, so they have a positive outlet for the aggression. And they might also find therapy affective, so they don’t let those negative thoughts get into their head that might cause them to harm themselves. Schools should always provide support for their students, like counciling and learning how to support themselves when it comes to how to cope with negative emotions. I can gaurentee you, that people like this and whoever else Deadwing comments on, fail to see the problem in themselves and think that ranting and raving trivial nonsense in front of a camera is the answer- failed to realize that they’ve done something far more serious and should refrain from internet usage, for their own safety. The resources are available- but for some reason, they don’t utilize them when they need them.
