Walking away was the hardest yet most rewarding decision I have ever made. Realized a few days ago that it's been over a year and a half since the break up and nearly 7 months since I last spoke with her but I stopped keeping count. I put focus on my own life and the people who make an effort to stay in my life. No contact isn't easy but it's essential to be happy after a break up. Put the work in and DON'T stop putting that work in. Complacency doesn't just happen in romantic relationships, it can happen in the relationship with yourself. Much love everyone and get out there and enjoy life. You've only got one ~

I just recently within the last month told my ex we can’t be friends as since the breakup in January 2021 he was keeping in contact with me but as friends only. I thought maybe he was doing it because of wanting to rekindle but I was wrong. Rory is right, when you are dumped and still love them, politely decline friendship and say if you change your mind let me know. That way they get the chance to miss you as otherwise they will have their cake and eat it as they don’t want you as a partner but want the good bits about you without commitment. It also helps to get yourself back and heal.

Is it too late to walk away after communicating with your ex 2 months post break up?
@alexjeremy55093 жыл бұрын
it is never too late to walk away, just walk away. cut off everything. I did this a month ago after a year of struggling to win her back and I realized it is no point of holding on anymore. Do it

I would like to know what u think about life coaches like tony gaskins ... I find that he is triggering parts of me that get very angry when he talks about how poorly men treat women & that’s almost always another women when the relationship is not working. I find Craig Kenneth and you far more rational and helpful.

I've never heard of that coach - But I will look into it!

Me and my ex worked together and broke up but we were still hanging out and doing the kind of relationship stuff, then I got offered a new job and she told me the same day she was seeing someone else and had been for two weeks. I was heart broken and did the begging and pleading that night. The next day she text me asking to meet up and told me she wanted to give it another go with me. We had a great weekend together and then she went quiet and I knew she was still talking to him. I deleted her off face book so I couldn’t see any updates and just talked about work when I saw her. I left that job and the following week she blocked me on everything for no reason. It’s been nearly 3 months now. I’m working on myself becoming a better person but I still miss her. Is there any chance that she might unblock me in future?
@baddude2523 жыл бұрын
Oh we were doing the relationship stuff for about 4 months
@baddude2523 жыл бұрын
@Ken Hession can I asked how long it took for you to be unblocked? I know it varies but it seems like times going so slow, I know I miss her but I’m not sure I want to be with her anymore, would be nice to atleast be friends as daft as that sounds, we didn’t work for a reason but we were great friends before we got together.

Never see no advice on this kind of subject when you have to see that person every day at work. (They work for you) so it’s not like you can just go get another job.

My ex wished me happy birthday the other day after 5 months of no contact. We exchanged a few messeges then went for a walk with her dog today even though she is in a new relationship. She wants to meet up again at somepoint, what are people's thoughts and advice on this?
@captaint11803 жыл бұрын
It’s all or nothing dude. I wouldn’t just meet up with her to just go for a walk with her dog. You need to set the boundary that your not settling for just friendship, especially if she’s in a new relationship. When she reaches out, strike when the iron is hot and ask her out to get together and if she wants to go out with you as just friends then politely tell her that you’re only romantically interested, and to give you a call if she changes her mind

Men are driven by logic. Women are driven by emotions. NEVER try and use logic on a woman when it comes to relationships. You MUST keep her on an emotional rollercoaster.
@hgzmatt3 жыл бұрын
You wish. It's been proven that people make all their decisions based on emotions. By doing this you scare off all the healthy ones and keep the ones so desperate for love they will accept anything.

I disagree with telling them "if I'm single" thats just throwing manipulation into the breakup which I disagree with.
@TheLoveChat3 жыл бұрын
I don't see how it is manipulation at all. I said several times that this video is for all situations - not just breakups. What if it was casual dating? Someone you met on an app and nothing was exclusive? Etc etc.
