I enjoyed this SO much! I call it a tiny home compound where you add a tiny building at a time, connected by screened porches and walkways. Craft studio, potting shed/greenhouse, workshop, storage, my dream. Ken's renovation work is attractive and comfortable and he has nice private spaces. Nice flower boxes too. I can tell how happy Mr Jones is by his face. It's like THIS is what he does this for, to make people happy and give them a peaceful, serene, affordable lifestyle. Listening to stories like Ken's and touring his home makes up for the naysayers and detractors who feel the need to be against ITH. Thanks so much for sharing! It blessed me.

I've been on youtube since 2011. I've been sharing Incredible Tiny Homes since 2015, even before they had a youtube channel themselves. I saw that hobbit house on I think WBIR? Knoxville News Channel and I immediately knew Randy was a genuine good heart and then Amanda too. I love ITH!. I have visited 3 times years ago. Way before they got so big. I even volunteered one day and met Randy and I stand by my word still today; Randy Jones had a vision years ago to help people! ITH is LEGIT!!!

I LOVE Ken's home! He's a carpenter with an artist's eye. In addition to his obvious building skills, I love the small, whimsical touches of the pastel colored wainscoting here and there, the Tudoresque wood touches hanging from the ceiling area of the breezeway, and the breezeway, itself. I'd often envisioned doing an L-shaped configuration with two small RJOs, or an RJO and an Incredibox, but wondered how it could match up on the rooflines, but he's done it! My husband and I have been married for over 31 yrs, and early on realized that our TV watching habits are VERY different, plus I'm a big reader, so it's important that we each have a little spot to ourselves, but we don't want to be apart much, so separate dens is perfect. Ken has created a perfect little habitat there, with room even for his daughter and grandson, and on a budget! Great job! Great video! I'm glad you guys are still taking time to feature what can be done with the smaller tiny houses, because I think some of your viewers are thinking that you're only building the big ones now, but that's not the case. There's still plenty at ITH for someone on a tighter budget.😊😊😊

I love the quiet with the beautiful bird songs everywhere! I love his set up. So cool. Love the fact that he had a Murphy bed at grandma’s house. Frankie is a beautiful child and he will talk about having his own loft and ladder forever. Great memories you’re making. That’s way more important than a big house you have to clean, furnish, mow, etc. no mortgage is the best way to survive retirement these days. He lives in a great way and place to make it happen. ❤

I love this place it is so cute and functional, I love that breezeway with the trees and the pond and I kept looking at the breezeway thinking it reminded me of something and then Amanda mention the Golden Pond movie. YES that is it. That must be because now that is what I think of

The exterior is gorgeous. I love the contrast of the greem against the wood siding. My house is painted Georgian Green, which is about the same. It's such a warm and inviting color. It's from Benjamin Moore's Historical line. We have creamy white trim (not quite as bright as her yellow) and barn red trim as the accent color for the fine details/accents on our old farmhouse built in 1900. We also have the dark brown. We call it gutter brown because we had the paint matched to our new brown gutters and then used that color on our attached sun porch/hot tub and covered deck. It's funny because the color scheme does not sound good, but it looks amazing. I am inspired to paint our white vinyl windows gutter brown.

This home is incredible. So much love and thought put into this lake cottage. Some homes you tour, you just feel right at home. This one is exactly that! This gentleman is just so laid back and easy going. So sorry about his wife's passing...so many years together...the love of his life. He has been truly blest. My husband and I have been homeless several times. We've lived out of campers, vans, our truck, and we've even stayed in motels and stayed with a friend for a short time. He has a friend who gave us his mobile home. I love this place very much. This is a very beautiful place.

Workers at Lowe's told me not to use pre-treated wood indoors as the chemicals involved are not ones you want to be exposed to inside your home. They told me to only use the "raw" untreated wood indoors. Anyone else know about this?
