What a perfect day for a speed session on the trails! Today's workout was a 2km interval session on the trail road, despite the muddy terrain from last night's rain. But I was stoked to get out there and tackle it - the soft road surface was a welcome change of pace.
The slope terrains and corners added an extra layer of excitement and challenge to the run. This training session was all about efficiency and form, not just speed. I maintained a steady pace, focusing on sustainability rather than going all out.
It's all about progress, not perfection. I've still got a lot to work on, but no pressure! Just taking it one step at a time.
If you enjoyed this simple training session, please do hit the like button, share it with your friends, and subscribe for more future videos like this!
Special shoutout to my pacer-turned-videographer for making it easy to capture the action.
Thanks for joining me on this running adventure! You can find me on the links below

Look so peaceful. What kind of shoes? I stopped it to see. Kind of looked like On logo, but no clouds. Good run. Tough in mud. Smart to run where cars packed it down. Keep on going!

Nice run. Sometimes little muddy (or better to say wet) terrain is better than dry dusty way but it shoul be hard enough. Do you concentrate on your running technique (if yes, how?) or you just run?

Sure, i do but mostly when i do my easy runs . I focus being mindful while running, making sure that i relax my shoulders, have short quick strides, breathing freely, also i always try to have my arms work relaxed ( not being tense) i include running drills to my training too. I also do massage once a week which is vital to running. I use the videos to correct other areas i see needs to be corrected.

@@lydiarun254 It is interesting to hear that you try to have short quick strides because when I see some runners thay have very long strides - maybe there should be some compromise for the strides - not to be so short or too long.... and not to work too hard be leg muscles.... Eg I have cadence 185 at pace 5min/km and I think that at such relativelly slow speed the cadence could be lower....

Building good aerobic running helped me to run relaxed and comfortable! I keep improving and hopefully i will keep improving. For the shoe , yes and there’s one but not into the elite standard! It is not going to easy though because of some factors

I am not experienced on this but i will recommend taking it easy when you get back from injury, build your base and get good recovery after training. Checking physiotherapy will help speed up recovery! Use a good shoe too!
