yeah but that suspension is kind of over kill and overpriced with out the wheels and tires you can dot that with an 3 in spacer for 250-300 dollars.

@@delta8515 that suspension is overkill but putting in just a spacer is a bad idea if he’s gonna use that thing off road at all... regular coilover and shocks and a leaf pack is a perfectly capable option for 99 percent of people and way cheaper than the remote res fox gear that guy was running

Really loved the video. You guys seem really thorough. Only problem on that build is that you can clearly see the tires are rubbing on hard left or right turns. On the last bit of video you can see a grey streak around the exterior wall of the tire. What is the solution to this?

Defiantly would want a re gear for this set up. Those BFG’s are E Rated tires. Super heavy!

Hi man i got a real specific question. I got a 2006 tacoma regularcab prerunner 2.7 5speed. Im looking at the bilstein 5100 3" coilover lift kit but i read somewhere that the prerunner already sits 4" taller than base model so would i lose an inch or would i get atleast an inch or 2 of lift

Base means 5 lug. So every prerunner Tacoma is taller then a base Tacoma. Also you have a single cab 4 cylinder so most manufacturers don't rec most lifts on those because of the weight difference between any of the 6 cylinder tacomas

@@artm6723 you can say all you want however if you actually do your research you’ll find it’s true. You could use the 5100s but you have to be very mindful of the perch setting due to it being a single cab 4 cylinder manual which is the lightest 6 lug Tacoma

its always good to get a regear if you are getting bigger tires, it will drive noticebly better but it is definitely not needed for 285s

I’m sure there’s no rubbing under normal driving but you get that thing off road like you’re supposed to use a truck and get some flex on it and I guarantee you those tires are gonna rub all over the place. That’s a complete city truck. Not a scratch on it and it probably doesn’t even see mud
