Great video, I play every position based on requirement and whenever lets say I pick off or mid .. I always pray for good support players than some great carry .. tbh I find it easier to play carry than support .. As carry players in most games you can get away with just playing safe, defending towers and good farming but a good support really needs a solid game understanding and diff in support between 2 teams can decides the final outcome..

how the matchmaking system dota work? i dont know but the fact is in unranked mode the guys here is more understanding how to play this game than the ranked mode. Just play for fun guys, stop focusing mmr, dota is just a game, your real life, your girlfriend, your workout, your job is more important. Dont make u re self stress full bcs this game

I think people are sleeping on Disruptor, glimpse is so broken it literally changes situations. His Q is a little bit meh but spamming it in the laning stage forces them to buy a lot of regen. Kinetic field synergizes with some meta heroes like naga etc. And bro, static storm have insane damage with a short cooldown and it can be worse with aghs. Dude just needs good vision and teammates and u can literally win the game.

Have you tried Disruptor 5 + Riki 4? Smoke cloud and Storm spaced out with kinetic field talents poops on everyone after bkb is used. Sleep dart also sets up for kinetic field or gives Disruptor time to catch-up and land a sick glimpse.

I think another way to frame mid game supports vs late game supports is "how well does this support function once bkbs come into play?" If you are playing a mid game dominating hero you need to always be clicking on enemy cores and seeing how close they are to bkb timings (you should be doing this always anyways but its very crucial as one of these heroes). One of the biggest throws you can do as a support is call a smoke gank on a core that just finished a bkb and they pop it, turn the fight, and wipe your team because you thought you could just nuke them down.

Speed, a good idea might be some kind of resource for good lane matchups that someone can quickly look at. Especially for carries that play role queue - itd be great to have a list of carries to pick depending on the supports selected in phase 1

for most pubs, any hero that doesn't offer anything to the laning phase is just griefing. i play lots of offlane, and the amount of time i get a 4 that just soaks xp and expects me to win 1v2 is astonishing.

Honestly dazzle should be in laning dominator, no pos 4 can outtrade dazzle with heal + poison touch. Oracle not sure i would say more mid game and IO probably mid to late. Its not only about dmg but their impact, like IO is just moving buff to your other heroes (not IO player so that is my opinion of him / it) so IO will help in similar way as aa on lane, not much. (Yes, if you pick good synergy like slark, mk, bb, tiny etc than lane domination is very likely, but like drow + IO or beast + IO is asking for capital punishment)

I’m a safe laner watching this video and I send it to my support friends. Most of the mistakes you mentioned that supports make have all happened to me from my supports this past week. Lol. I always get left in lane alone when I can’t survive alone. Or they spend two minutes just to pull a camp or stack it. I never have room to farm and get chased all over the map.

Dota Plus suggests a weird cm build, where you skip the Q and max frostbite and aura. I tried it a couple of times (even though it feels wrong) and had a lot success with it. Maybe its a low mmr thing where its good, because noone buys enough regen and suddenly your teammates can cast their spells. Idk. Anyone tried it?

Dota Plus changes its build suggestions according to your team and the opponent team. It also always gives you 4 different builds to choose from (click on the text "show more options").

This is what I was thinking today. I always start getting 2 lvl on the first and the second skill, and I run out of mana way too quickly, usually I have to choose one of the two when harassing lane. So I Will now max second and the passive now.

No mmr is free. To suggest so shows a complete disregard for people's time and effort. To gain mmr one must spend hours of their life giving up communication with their loved ones, giving up hanging out with friends, reducing the amount of time spent doing other hobbies, and finally, playing a game that regularly has people insult amd abuse you. To say it's free is an insult and completely untrue. As long as you put that horrible all caps click bait in your title I will never watch another video, which would be a shame cause you actually make quite content that should be looking to gain views on its merit and not some bullshit false claim.
