You may think of going to the suburbs of KL like Petaling Jaya, a city just beside Kl with many great places to explore, shop & dine, it’ll be a great adventure!

@ While that’s true, it’s not a place I’d choose to live long-term. I enjoy spending time in the burbs, but living there just isn’t for me. My lifestyle couldn’t handle it! 😆

I booked my trip last night!!!for September 2025. I will have a 20 hour layover in Tokyo (coming from north Carolina) and I will do a day trip to Singapore, while in Malaysia, 3 countries in 1 trip, excited!❤❤❤
@QueenofDC18 күн бұрын
Congratulations 🎊 That’s so exciting! Three countries in one trip is a fantastic plan. A 20-hour layover in Tokyo is plenty time to explore-I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time. Perfect way to make the most of your travels. September 2025 is going to be blazing for you!🎊✈️

I should mention that it takes days to get to Asia from where you are. By the time you get off that plane, you will not be in a condition to run around in Tokyo. You will be jetlagged and disoriented and deprived of sleep. If it is possible at all, give yourself more time. There might be some 14 hrs time difference and you are arriving in a country that is entirely different what you are accustomed to.

Thanks for taking us along. Love the asmr vibes. You never know about KL - one might find gems, tucked away from the main track. Btw, there is another mosque at Putrajaya worth visiting- beautiful courtyard and also by the lake. Putrajaya is quiet but it's got lots of parks including wetlands and beautiful open empty space. I think every year it hosts the flower, light and international hot air balloons festivals. yard

Thanks for joining me on the journey! I agree-KL is full of hidden gems just waiting to be discovered, and I'm still learning the city. I appreciate the recommendation for the mosque in Putrajaya; Are you talking about the white or steel mosque from a short distance? Sounds stunning with the lake and courtyard setting. I’ll definitely add it to my list. Sounds lovely to experience those. Thanks for sharing such wonderful insights!

@@julietvaz8180 I know that you need to hear it from the queen herself. However, just to let you know, most of the places visited by the queen in this video are in Kuala Lumpur, or KL, the capital of Malaysia, a country in the Southeast Asian region, except for the pink mosque, which is in Putrajaya, the new administrative capital of Malaysia. 😁

Kafe Kleptokrat. I was going to guess that was Pasar Seni but didn't realize it was near Masjid jamek. If it's that nice, i may have to check out that neighborhood!
