@christovelasquez95959 ай бұрын
@@Ace-bi1lu Fact, the size 6 ball is not only smaller but it is also lighter which makes it easier to shoot for anyone and if men can shoot the larger heavier ball with accuracy they can easily adjust to a smaller lighter ball in one off season and pre season. But you said it best, it is a legit advantage for the women to get to use the smaller, ligher ball not because of their hand size but because it is easier to shoot into a regulation size rim. The draft is held, a team chooses her, she tries out - and makes the team as a bench player...but the minimum salary there is the wnba's max, and the opportunity for actual real change - or a crazy sports moment - a movie moment if you will....would be most likely in that option. the WNBA is butch..sorry, that's being superficial but it will be a huge turnoff to men. Now the viewership in Indiana will probably be decent, but outside of that..meh.
@bendover36539 ай бұрын
Not even remotely the same. The difference is those guys you mentioned are the best the sport has to offer. The WNBA will never take off because as a product its terrible, the most entertaining aspects of basketball don't exist in womens basketball because the lack they athleticism to them. Also even tho nba was on tape delay it was still a multi million dollar league at the time. The WNBA literally hasn't made a single dollar in profit since it started.

agreed - but Caitlin is already showing she's going to try to fit into the WNBA - and that... ladies and gents will be her downfall. She's a great ladies player, decent girl from a good family and a solid upbringing. The girls worked hard... no questions. But the reality here is "eyeballs". The new eyeballs that were tuning into the womens college game - were not young girls, or some other demographic other than - Straight White Men. That is the single largest demographic that can move the marketing needle and that's who Caitlin drew in - for whatever reason... maybe it's that she's a nice looking white girl that's not trying to look like a dude NBA player... whatever the reason was - she drew that demographic in. And unfortunately, once she gets to the WNBA - if they crap on her... and she decides like she did on SNL to kinda show some signs she's going to be a kneeler... her popularity will sink quick. She'll be an ESPN woke darling... I really hope that doesn't happen to her... Wish she would have taken Barstools offer - I think the $5m she could have gotten there - better served and her popularity would have driven through the roof to the right crowd.

They kind of put their thumb on the scale. Sunday afternoon vs Monday at 9:20pm.

Adam, maybe Caitlin Clark is one of those weird people that play for the love of the game. The money will follow her.

Ive never watched a full PBD pod because adam starts spewing garbage and i change it to something else lol ONE LOVE. Lol

I give credit to women that they can be capable of some very impressive physical feats but I look at women's basketball and I see the most unathletic women athletes over every sport. It makes me wonder how they're training. Like what are they even doing?
@LightYagami-rz6su9 ай бұрын
But they are still women. Lol it's like the Special Olympics. Yeah it's cool to see them play, but it's nothing amazing. Lol men so far ahead. 🤣

agree with that

I bought WNBA league pass and never watched a game. I will be supporting Caitlin, and I live in Montana. I have seen and know several other people who have done the same

You offer her % of ticket sales, of her merch, make her an anchor of the organization. It’s the reason she chose Iowa, the opportunity to make history with a small market. Never underestimate the power of ego! Even if she’s humble

I guess the other host did predict that attendance and viewership are off the roof when CC is playing. He should have made a bet with the other host who said nobody cares about the WNBA.

Conejo that guy at the end of this video was on Franks Vibes being hella disrespectful to some Native thats a South Sider. South Sider asked him to run a friendly fade at the next KZbin Boxing Matches. He responded exactly like you'd expect his Big Homie the Squirt Gun to respond.

That's not what it is. We can not relate to the men's game anymore. Players are not staying around which makes the game unrelatable. This is why college football is more than college basketball.
@moganfreeman60369 ай бұрын
The team that drafts her could give her the green light to take 20+ shots per game, she’ll definitely put up numbers, that 4pt 3reb Adam was suggesting is for a no.1 pick going to a team that’s contending and already got stars on it.

Most watched this season was because of the competitive drama from last years game , the curiosity of revenge always take on new lookers . 🤔

She's great but if she is guarded like Raven guarded her things may not pan out in the long run.
@bc70139 ай бұрын
She did just fine against UCONN and the reality is that she was on an Iowa team that has 0 WNBA talent and nobody who can take the ball and create for themselves. I get the point but she is going into a situation that can actually take advantage of all of skillset given the talent of those around her.

Usually, I'm super skeptical of an Adam take, but I think he was dropping some cold hard truths on this one.

Im with Vinnie, I love the NBA but I am not able to stomach start to finish... Referee's make the game a pain to watch. They call this foul, dont call that foul, which changes momentum. Hope Caitlin makes bank and changes the viewer numbers that helps increase pay

36 of the 40 Home games for the Indiana Fever will be Nationally televised. Last year they only had 22 of their games shown nationally. Season tickets are almost sold out and theyt expect 6000 additional fans in the seats. Anyway you look at it Caitlin Clark has already changed the Indiana Fever and she hasn't played a single game yet and it's bound to filter down to the rest of the WNBA

Ok the views went up but only the best teams played look at the other games. For me all the games leading up to the March madness was boring and low scoring. So for me she should take the five mill. Wbna might get a little more views but not enough to change everything.
