The fact that the shower head felt (sounded?) like plastic tends to make me believe that if it's made of stainless steel, it's a very thin guage. If that's the case, I'd worry that if you drop the head while showering (easy to do), it might dent. Perhaps the manufacturer will come here and comment on that concern.

It's good to see you back Bob! I'll have to keep the shower head you demonstrated in mind and will look atthe Hammerhead Showers catalog too -- hopefully they'll have what I (think I) need to modify our upstairs shower for my wife. Also, if you're looking for ideas for future videos, would you make a video explaining & demonstrating how to properly tighten pipe thread fittings, both PVC (or other plastic) and metal, like brass, cast iron etc.?

That looked a well made product. Should last longer than a plastic version that has too much built in obsolescence. Couldn't understand where that shower bracket would connect to till I saw it on your shower arm Here in UK adjustable slide rails are very popular so one can slide head up and down to a height that suits so wouldn't need the bracket. Just swap the head and hose out and hose would connect straight onto outlet of shower mixer valve

Thought of you a bunch while working on an old brass tub drain and overflow replacement after a galvanized steel nipple that was part of a drum trap corroded and was leaking. Got to use many tips from your videos, so thanks! What is the purpose of teflon on the threads if the seal is made by the flat rubber washer?
