I definitely hear you on not dealing with the root cause and actually worsening it. I am currently dealing with a complete ACL tear. Am very active person (equestrian and avid weight lifter) however I have had chronic issues with my left knee over the years that came and went. That is the one that ended up tearing. Over the past 2 years I’ve really worked on rehabbing it to get it equal to my stronger knee but didn’t quite get there in time and ended up tearing after a fall from my horse (landed on my feet 😬). Also I am in no way quad dominant, have also been glute dominant. Though I think I’m still dealing with over a decade of abuse from running when I was younger. Wish I knew what I know now on how to take care of my knees better. Saw a surgeon in my area who wants to do the standard quad graft reconstruction blah blah. I really want to avoid that but all I hear is “you are going to get injured more tear a meniscus etc.” 😑 I get it but I made a ton of progress healing in only a month. I am also seeing another surgeon who does BEAR implants. I’m really curious to get his opinion but I did kind of already consider what you are saying here. I guess we will see what happens after that next consult.

Does stem cell therapy works for acl high grade tear ?
@epmanualphysicaltherapy3 ай бұрын
Hi Paragstar, Stem cell injections might offer some relief by helping with healing and reducing swelling, but it's important to keep in mind that the effects can be temporary and results vary from person to person. These treatments can also be quite expensive, and some people might not experience significant improvement. It’s often more beneficial to focus on addressing the root cause, which is frequently a muscle imbalance, particularly in the glutes. If you’re struggling with range of motion, stem cell injections could potentially help you move more easily, making it easier to engage in exercises. Just in case you are interested we have a playlist for acl help. You can access it here: “ACL Knee Pain Injury Help” kzbin.info/aero/PLJVIPiFvv1mY5egV7qX8PHh-kEeL6y1wP Start with one or two exercises, beginning with the smallest range of motion and the lowest intensity. As you feel stronger, you can gradually increase both the range of motion and intensity. It’s best to do these exercises every day throughout the day. Aim to tire out the muscle without losing form or control. Consistency is key. Always avoid working through pain; soreness and mild discomfort are normal, but pain is not. We hope you found this information helpful to you. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!
